Finish Strong: Give Your Best! Your Very Best!
Finish Strong: Give Your Best! Your Very Best!
ts exciting. Take exercise programs. Just look at how full gyms are in January. But see how empty they are in February! You dont even have to look at the gym. Just look around at your home. Can you see an exercise equipment thats gathering dust? Ab-Flex. Stair-Master. Sky-Rider. Treadmill. Stationary Bicycle. Dumbbells. Yoga Mats. Hoola-hoops. Skipping Ropes. According to some surveys, 97% of all exercise machines dont get used after the first three months. My friend even built a swimming pool in his house worth millions of pesos. He imagined doing 50 laps in it every day. But when I talked to him, the last time he lapped 12 months ago. No doubt about it. We like starting new stuff. But its finishing strong that spells the difference between success and failure. All success is about finishing strong. No exception. Whether that be in exercise, diet, marriage, business, or even our spiritual life. When I was 15 years old, I had a 17-year-old friend who served God with me. We gave spiritual seminars together all over the country. He played the guitar well and led the singing for our events. For many years, we served together in ministry. But one day, he started missing our prayer meetings. He said work got busy. Soon, he just dropped out. We didnt know where he went. Years later, I heard that my friend became a gambling addict. He was buried in debt. By that time, his wife had already left him, bringing the kids with her. He is now a broken man, living alone in a rented room, defeated and lost, still battling the demons of his addiction. He started strong but he didnt finish strong. Today, I want you to learn how to finish strong. Be very blessed today! May your dreams come true,
Finish Strong I
