Dear Parents,

The L.A.P program is based on a holistic foundation which believes that play fosters a child’s
physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Children have an immense capacity for
learning and in the right learning environment, combined with the right pedagogies children develop
a lifelong love for learning, exploring, creating, imagining and stretching the boundaries of the
different available possibilities. This world of Play offers children vast opportunities to learn about
themselves, others, and the environment in which they live.

Our L.A.P Program (Learn and Play Program) exposes the child to a structured yet extremely fun
loving environment and aims at making learning a fun filled journey.

Cognitive Abilities:
Play helps increase child’s concentration and cooperation with others. They learn to do abstract
thinking and to engage in problem solving activities.

Gross Motor Skills:

The early years are critical for development of fine and gross motor skills of the child. Through
L.A.P. Program children will be exposed to outdoor/indoor play time, self-directed learning, motor
skill enhancing and developing physical abilities through activities like dancing, running and
jumping.

Imagination and Creativity:

Imagination and creativity are enhanced while playing with clay, paper and finger paints. They carry
their new discoveries to the outside world of play.

Social and Emotional Development:

When children play, their brain develops, their muscles grow strong, and they develop good social
and life skills such as learning to share,take turns, make choices and understand the feelings of others.

The L.A.P. program for Butterfly class begins w.e.f. Thursday October 28 th 2021(The planners
will be shared shortly).
