Actually,

Growth Mindset Isn't

What You Think It Is
I’d like to hear your point of view…

What are the attributes of having

GROWTH MINDSET ?
WHEEL OF LIFE
The concept was originally created by
Paul J. Meyer, founder of Success Motivation®
Institute, Inc.

I already have, and have always had, a growth mindset.

A pure growth mindset doesn’t exist,

mixture of fixed and growth mindsets
continually evolves with experience.
WHAT’S HOLDING YOU BACK?
A growth mindset is just about praising and rewarding effort.

Outcomes matter!
It’s critical to reward not just effort but
learning and progress, and to emphasize the
processes that yield these things.
HOW DO I REWARD MY PROGRESS?
Just espouse a growth mindset, and good things will happen.

Commit to the growth not just in words but in

deeds such as broadly available development,
advancement opportunities, and reinforce with
concrete policies.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH ORGANIZATIONS
REINFORCE GROWTH MINDSET VALUE?
● Facilitate learning & development program for every employee
● Support collaboration across organizational boundaries
● The Leaders ask for the feedback for them to grow
● The Leaders believe that each team member is potential and can be developed
“Love challenges, be intrigued by mistakes,
enjoy effort and keep on learning.”
