GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS DIVISION 6 - INCIDENTAL 68 6.8.1 6.8.2 6.8.2.1 6.8.2.2 6.8.2.3 68.2.4 6.8.3 68.3.1 68.3.2 6.8.4 6.8.5 GUARDRAIL Description This work shall consist of furnishing and installing of guardrail as detailed on the Drawings and at locations indicated on the Drawings or as directed by the Engineer. The work shall include all required posts, rails, fixtures and fastenings, beams, anchorages and attachments as well as aligning, galvanising and all the processes necessary to complete the work. Materials General All metal work shall be hot galvanised in accordance with AASHTO M 111. Concrete and Reinforcement Steel Concrete shall conform to the requirements of Section 5.1. Measurement \ Se The quantity to be’méasured for payment shall be the | suit 6f linear metres of guardrail completed, including the supply ¢ and installatic spdsts, anchorages and fixings as specified. sf Payment This work measured as provided above will be paid for at the Contract rate for guardrail. The rate and payment will be full compensation for furnishing and installing all materials, including labour, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary to complete the work.
