LESSON: Dance Craze 2: Street and Hip-hop Dances

COMPONENT: Physical Education

CONTENT STANDARD: The learner demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight


management to promote community fitness.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner creates artworks using available media and
natural resources on local topics, issues, and concerns such as environment advocacies, ecotourism
and economic and livelihood projects.

LEARNING COMPETENCY:
• Assess physical activity, exercise and eating habits PE10PF-IIIah-39
a. Realize the importance of dancing to maintain lifelong fitness.
• Engage in moderate to vigorous physical activities for at least 60 minutes a day in and out
of school PE10PF-IIIch-45
a. Execute some of the hip-hop dance styles.
b. Create a simple dance routine applying common styles in street and hip-hop
dance.

At the end of the period, 75% of the students are expected to:
