Welcome to the latest edition of EZ Pub Profits!

This monthly guide will be one of your “tools in the
toolbox” during the growth phase of your Kindle Direct
Publishing business.

In order to ensure that your KDP business is growing

and expanding, we will focus on a single concept
during this journey together: publishing 1 quality book
per day.

Following this strategy will ensure that the end of

one calendar year, you have 365 quality books on
the platform that are well-researched and maximally
useful to potential customers. Remember, just 1 book
can outsell thousands if you take the right approach!

Each month the guide will have a similar layout. We

will cover upcoming holidays and events so that you

know what keywords to create around, but we will

also have sections about new ways to “think outside of
the box” for selling low content books.

I hope to continue to take questions that I had, as

well as questions that you have or WILL have and turn
everything into a learning opportunity where we can
make money together publishing low content books.

I will publish a success guide each month, delivered on

the 1st day of each month. It will be packed with tips,
tricks, recommendations, and lessons learned, and it
will evolve with you, the readers, as you work through
your KDP business.

ACTION STEP: Take the examples provided below, do

some research, and set a goal to publish at least 1
book each day. At the end of March, if you do only 1
book per day, you’ll have 31 new publications up on
KDP. PLUS, a lot of these are evergreen niches! But
before we get into that, here are some events that are
marked throughout the whole month of May (we are
working 2 months ahead!)

CELIAC DISEASE AWARENESS MONTH*

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder in which

the ingestion of gluten – a protein found in wheat, rye,
and barley – causes damage to the small intestines.
It’s an “autoimmune” disorder because, when a person
with celiac disease eats gluten, their small intestines
are attacked by their own immune system.

Celiac disease can have serious long-term

consequences including infertility and osteoporosis,
but many individuals with celiac disease are never
tested and may never become symptomatic. That’s
why the whole month of May is dedicated to raising
awareness about the disease.

Additionally, there is no known cure for celiac disease

other than a strict gluten-free diet.

But even those who don’t have celiac disease have

noted gastrointestinal benefits from avoiding gluten,

and some popular diets – like Paleo or the Perfect
Health Diet – are inherently gluten-free because they
cut out all grains.

Thus, good LCB options for this niche include food

journals and meal prep journals that target specific
dietary needs. For example, “celiac food journal” or
“gluten free meal planning.”

Another option for those with celiac disease (or other

intestinal issues like irritable bowel syndrome) is a
journal for tracking FODMAPs which are fermentable
carbohydrates that are poorly absorbed by the
small intestines (see this article from Johns Hopkins
Medicine for an overview). Some people find that a
low-FODMAP diet helps with their intestinal / digestive
distress. If you’re going to make a food journal in this

niche, you could also include a food list with diet-

compatible foods. Such lists are easy to track down
from reputable sources online (like the John’s Hopkins
article listed above).

Finally, more broadly, you could make a food

sensitivity journal where users can log their reactions
to different foods. This could include things like how
the food made them feel, how their gut reacted, or if
they got acid reflux. To help get you started, we have
included an interior for a food sensitivity log book
with this month’s guide.

National Be a Millionaire Day* - May 20th

According to the Global Wealth Report, almost 22

million people classify as millionaires in the United
States. That’s nearly 9% of the US population! (see
also: Wikipedia) However, even though quite a few
people are already millionaires, there are even more
who want to be millionaires. It’s not as impressive
sounding as in 1999 when the show “Who Wants to be
a Millionaire” first aired, but it’s still a lot of wealth to
accumulate and no easy task.

One way you could mark this date is with LCBs for
those who have the ambition to become a millionaire
but just haven’t gotten there yet. For example, a
“future millionaire journal” or a “millionaire mindset
journal.” This could be just a blank lined journal, or
could include motivational sayings / financial tips.

IMPORTANT DATE HIGHLIGHTS

You could also mark this date with logbooks for

people focused on wealth-building to keep track
of things like investments and income streams. For
example, a cashflow logbook, or even an organizer for
the self-employed.

Finally, since many millionaires built their wealth with

real estate, you could create ledger book / record
book for rental properties. We have included an
interior for a rental property ledger with this month’s
guide.
