What I like about the poem is how it was constructed. It was constructed in a unique
manner where if you read it from the bottom to the top, you will read an encouraging poem. But
if you read it from top to bottom, you can read a depressing poem. What I also like about the
poem is that it is relatable to any teenager or adult, as well as it contains an encouraging and a
depressing side. Lastly, what I also like about it is that the poem speaks a lot of the author’s
encouraging words.
The part where the author asks a question in the poem is the part where I found it less
interesting. This is because the author asks a rhetorical question even though he or she has not
yet said what he or she feels.

I think that the author can improve the poem by following a rhyme scheme. The author
can also use rhyming words in order to follow a rhyme scheme in the poem. Lastly, the author
should use more concrete words than abstract ones in order to incorporate more feelings in the
poem.
