undergraduate of the UPB Sectional Bucaramanga of the year 2017.

AUTHOR(S): Maria Camila Gomez Parra

FACULTY: Facultad de Ingeniería Industrial

DIRECTOR: Olmedo Gonzalez

ABSTRACT

The objective of the research was to identify the factors that affected the labor market insertion process of the
graduates of the Bolivarian Pontifical University Bucaramanga in 2017. This document contains the results of the
descriptive research carried out on undergraduate graduates. A census was conducted to determine the
population of graduates who are unemployed and those who are employed, and the research was conducted on
these. It should be clarified that not all of them solved the survey, so the analysis of results was carried out based
on the 654 respondents. It was identified that the most relevant factors that affect labor market insertion are those
that are within the labor supply factor. These factors include the lack of work experience, the lack of available
jobs and the number of professionals with the same career who are looking for a job.
