Ascent Network Monitor Purchase Guide

Purchasing the full version of Network Monitor

For a new Compass supervisor license:

1. Enter COMPASS-SOFTWARE in the product field.

2. Press Configure.
3. Select the desired supervisor size.
4. Select Network Monitor from the ALERTON TOOLS dropdown menu.

For an existing Compass supervisor license:

1. Enter COMPASS-OPTIONS in the product field.

2. Press Configure.
3. Select Network Monitor from the ALERTON TOOLS dropdown menu.
Purchasing the TECH version of Network Monitor
NOTE: This product is only usable with COMPASS-1-TECH licenses.

Since the base model for the COMPASS-1-TECH supervisor license prevents any add-ons from being
bound to it during configuration, the TECH version of Network Monitor cannot be bound to this license
in the Web Channel purchase process. This is the menu that appears after selecting the TECH
supervisor.

It must always be purchased separately. Meaning, the purchase process is the same whether you
already have a COMPASS-1-TECH license or not.

1. Enter COMPASS-OPTIONS in the product field.

2. Press Configure.
3. Select Network Monitor - TECH from the ALERTON TOOLS dropdown menu.
