color delivery without the hassle of visiting a hair salon. Novemer™* EC-2 polymer also helps to stabilize the complex hair color system. Merquat™* 2003PR
polymer takes care of the sensory experience, leaving hair soft and shiny. This formula is a non-ammonia cream base and needs to be mixed with a developer.

Procedure:
1. Step I – Preparation of Aqueous Phase – Add Distilled Water and Disodium EDTA in
PART A to a main mixing vessel. Mix until uniform.
2. Add Carbopol®* Ultrez 20 polymer on the surface of water in main mixing vessel. Wait
for 5-10 minutes. Then start stirring and mix for 5-10 minutes.
3. Step II – Preparation of Dye Slurry – In another SS Dye mixing vessel, add PART B
ingredients along with water and mix well to form uniform slurry.
4. Add dye slurry to main mixing vessel and mix for 10-15 minutes. Then heat this aqueous
phase to 70-80 °C.
5. Step III – Oil Phase Melting – In another SS Oil/Wax melting vessel, add PART C
ingredients and heat to 70-80 °C. Ensure complete mixing of oil phase and avoid
overheating.
6. Step IV – Emulsification – Add molten oil phase to aqueous phase in main mixing
vessel, continue stirring and heating for another 10-15 minutes. Ensure complete
emulsification.
7. Start cooling the batch. At 30-35 °C add Ethanolamine and mix for 10-15 minutes.
8. In a separate vessel, mix PART E ingredient Merquat™* 2003PR polymer and water.
Mix until uniform.
9. Add premix PART E ingredients to main mixing vessel and continue stirring for another
10-15 minutes.
10. In a separate vessel, mix PART F ingredients – Perfume Solubilizer and Perfume. Mix
until uniform.
11. Add premix PART F ingredients to main mixing vessel. Mix until uniform.
