A Detailed Lesson Plan in Pre-Kinder

I. Learning Objectives
a. Differentiates the difference between longer and shorter,
b. Compare the length of the long object to its longer object and compare the length of the
short object to its shorter object.
c. Appreciate God made long object and longer object; short object and shorter object for us.
II. Subject Matter
A. Topic: Longer and shorter
B. References: Lofranco,C.V. Learning to Read. LAPID KINDERLAND INC.
C. Materials: ball pen, pencils, yarn, hairpin, and crayon.
D. Faith Integration: Appreciate God made long object and longer object, short object and
shorter object for us.

everywhere a things that teacher hides. Hint,
cover with white bond paper. Then if you find
it, give it to teacher.

(the teacher will show the comparison of the
long object and the short object).

Class this morning let us study about longer

Last time we had our treasure hunting, and
these are the things you got.
We have a yarn, pencil, ball pen, hair pin,
crayon, and marker.
As you noticed all the object has a long and
short.

Longer is something that has a greater length


than a long object.
Example: this is long ball pen it has a greater
length but as we can see, the yarn has a
greater length than a long ball pen.

So instead, this is long ball pen but the yarn is


longer than a ball pen.
The ball pen is long but the yarn is longer
than a ball pen.
Mahaba mas mahaba

Let’s have another one.

The hairpin is short because it has a lesser


length, but the crayon is much shorter than
hairpin

God created longer and shorter animals and
