1 EXT. TOWN 1
THOMAS V/0
I work at Harrison and Co. making
326 thousand a year. To most, I am
the ideal person. To others, I am
the perfect businessman. In
reality, although I have the shell
of a man, a man I am not. While
others feel emotion, I feel
nothing. I live a existence filled
with nothing but the constant urge
of emptiness within me. I feel most
alive right before I awake in the
morning, before the void begins to
consume me. I wish for others to
feel the pain that only I do. It
seems to be the only release from
this sadistic world. Perhaps when I
die, I might finally feel something
except this feeling of rot. I live
like a man, but I am not.
2 INT. CAFE 2
WALTER
Ah, Thomas, glad you finally made
it, took your time.
THOMAS
I do apologize, some work came up.
WALTER
THOMAS
(Confidentially)
As a matter of fact, that's what I
was doing, and, get this, I just
closed a deal for 120k.
THOMAS
Decided to get these as a sort of,
celebration.
WALTER
Very nice, like the material, gives
it a quality look.

WALTER
Ah, I must get going, got a few
people I need to call before
wrapping up for the day.
WALTER
Oh..., just remembered, there's a
things I need to talk to you about,
umm, how about I come around to
yours, this Thursday.
THOMAS
uh, y-yeah, sounds good
WALTER
THOMAS
Nothing in particular...no.
WALTER
Ah, just remembered, the deal is
mentioned to you a few days ago,
turns out the company would like to
do further business. It may be more
beneficial than I had previously
thought.
THOMAS
Now this is real music. You know
this song was created by Beethoven
all the way back 1801 for a student
he fell in love with, in fact...
WALTER
Never cared for that classical
rubbish, seems like something you
would like though.
THOMAS

WALTER
Truth be told, Timothy at your firm
told me to talk to you about that
deal you did. He seems a little
concerned that you may...damage the
deal. I told him to relax, but he
seemed quite persistent. Don't get
me wrong, I don't think he was
insulting you, it's just that, you
know, it's quite a large deal.
THOMAS
I see.....You want me to get you
another drink.
WALTER
ah yes, that sounds great.
THOMAS
Walter?
