OB DUTIES AS HALAL SUPERVISOR

• Lead and maintain the effectiveness of Halal Management System which included new
product HALAL application, renewal, compliance and etc.
• Co-ordinate /follow up for quarantine record for non-conforming material.
• Finished Good Release and COA issuing.
• To maintain logs and records of production and/ensure that/ only those items produced as
halal are labeled and only approved vendors and raw/packaging materials are used for
production.
• Responsible for Overall Verification Schedule monitoring and testing arrangement.
• To maintain good housekeeping in the production area and supervise the Halal & quality
aspects of the production and to /ensure/ that the cleaning and production control systems
are adequate, including systems from receiving, storing and producing through to end-item
packaging.
• To have a basic understanding of ISO /22000:2005 Food Safety Management System/,
HACCP Principles and Halal food standards.
• To assist Management and QC/Personnel/ to implement and improve Food Safety Policy
and set measurable objectives in accordance with the operational standards.
• To inspect all the food contact materials/pieces of machinery and ensure /that /the factory
adheres to Halal regulations.
• To assist in monitoring the personal hygiene and health of workers
• To report to the AO or QC /Personnel/ any non-conformance to the company’s policy
• To assist the implementation and ensure the compliance of ISO /22000:2005 and/ HACCP
program.
• To assist QC /Personnel/ in conducting an investigation of customer complaints and
quality/food safety issues.
• To perform other duties or tasks are given or instructed by the management.
