Part 3: 1. Are you a punctual person?/ Do you think it is important to be on time?/ Do you always avoid being late? Yes. For meetings with others, appointments, and school=> being on time is essential! In fact, being on time is not enough, I believe that people should be early to leave room for error. It shows that you respect the time of others and that you are organized and professional. 2. What are some common reasons for being late for something?/ Why are people often late for things (like meetings or appointments)? Various Things like weather, traffic, or problems with public transportation are probably the most common reasons for tardiness (sự chậm trễ). If someone is known for being late, it likely boils down to (chung quy lại) 10 poor planning and disorganization. It seems to me that it's always the same people who are late over and over. These repeat- offenders often have a million reasons why it's not their fault that they're running behind. 3. How important it is for people to be on time in your country? / Are people in your country often late for something? Being on time is very important in my country. It isn't likely that someone would show up late for something unless it is a casual get together with close friends or family. I have visited certain countries where this is not the case, and it really threw me a curve ball (gây ngạc nhiên) when I was left waiting, sometimes for hours, for someone to show up. It made me realize that punctuality is a cultural thing and not universal whatsoever. Part 2: Describe a person you know who loves to grow plants - to talk about my mom's close friend who is a huge gardening enthusiast. - - She and my mom have been friends for decades, and I've visited her house with my mom many times, so it's safe to say that I know her pretty well. - She lives in the suburbs and it always takes us over an hour to drive there. - But she has a big house with two stories. - There's also a huge front yard where my mom's friend built a pretty gorgeous garden. - She plants all kinds of vegetables, fruits and flowers in it - Last time I visited her. I saw radish, tomatoes, cucumbers and varieties of flowers like roses and tulips. - The garden was full of colors and looked so alive - I would have to say that standing in the garden just brightened my day. She told us that she didn't have to buy vegetables from grocery stores as she has all the vegetables that her family usually eats, in the freshest state. Plus, she loves making a decorative bouquet (bó hoa) out of the flowers in her garden from time to time. So you can see many unique vases with beautiful flowers in her house. I think my mom's friend really gets the most out of her life and enjoys every day. Her love of plants has made her lifestyle elegant and delightful. When/ I/ retire/ I/ take up/ gardening/ as my hobby.
