EXPERIENCE:
DNP-FNP CLINICAL
• Responsible for maintaining high quality and efficient medical activities of a free safety net
clinic. Manage medical clinic staff and volunteers to foster high quality and compassionate care.
Chronic disease management. Assist patients with medical concerns. Screen potential patients to
ensure their needs meet the clinic’s scope of practice. Personnel coordination. Coordinate medical
outreach activities and special programs. Orient and train medical volunteers and staff.
Coordinate clinic intern programs with local educational institutions. Direct workflow for medical
clinic. Quality Management. Define scope of practice and care protocols for the medical clinic in
coordination with Medical and Operations Directors. Develop and maintain medical clinic
policies and procedures. Maintain medical clinic outcome data. HIPPA compliance officer.
• Floor RN. PRN 2-4 days/month. Provide patient care for 14-16 patients. Patients post hospital
stay needing further physical rehabilitation. Older adult population with emphasis on joint
replacements and management of chronic conditions such as cardiac diabetes. Administer
medications, wound care, coordinate care, carry out MD orders. Use MatrixCare documentation
software.
