OVERVIEW
Being physically fit enables a person to perform daily activities without
experiencing undue fatigue. It also allows him/her to enjoy of leisure activities,
prevent diseases, and respond to emergency situations. Being able to perform
such activities means his/her body is healthy and properly functioning.
The Health-related components are focused on how well the systems of the
body work. These are concerned to maintain a healthy lifestyle and function
efficiently. Physical fitness testing is essential in monitoring a person’s fitness level
and assessing his/her current health status. It is measured through various
physical fitness test.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, you will be able to:
 perform the specific activities and exercises needed in HRF & SRF
 appreciation and integration of the benefits of PFT
 practice honesty and accuracy in conducting the test and promoting safety

ACTIVITY #1 FITNESS TEST ACTIVITY
Can you still recall the fitness test activities that help in sustaining lifetime
health goals? Complete the table on your answer sheet by providing one example
of an exercise that would measure the given fitness components.

LET’S DO IT!
ACTIVITY 1: FITNESS TEST
In this activity, you will undergo the different physical fitness test that will
measure and determine your fitness level via undergoing into skill and health
related fitness activities. Follow the procedures given in the powerpoint
presentation sent via messenger.
Perform some warm-up exercises before the test and cool down exercises
after the activity. Make sure to wear a comfortable outfit and to stay safe while
doing the fitness tests. Document yourselves while doing the tests. Submit your
pictures and videos via messenger. Use the fitness record sheet in doing the
activity. Enjoy!
After doing the different fitness tests, answer the following:
1. What is the relationship/ purpose of the fitness tests that you’ve done?
2. As a teenager, how can you maintain and promote physical fitness. Give at
least five (5) ways
ACTIVITY 2 I CREATE!
Based on the result of your physical fitness test, use the chart and identify
your strengths and weaknesses. On the last column, set your fitness goals that
you want to achieve to improve your fitness level.
