mistry architects is architecture firm that creates

architecture for a purpose. they believe that having fun in
the workspace is critical aspect that helps them. they have
done many projects all across india.
some of the important ones are agastya foundation, villa at
kodaikanal,
sos childrens village tirupati, shantidaman etc

out of these projects the agastya foundation stands out the

most, each block is designed based on the biomicry of the
animals present in the site. the auditorium is based on the
shell of a dung beetle. they have carefully placed their
columns away from the central seating area. the main stage is
opened to the vast greenery of the site. girders are used in the
support. the auditorium prefectly is placed in the site as to
blend it with surroundings

the villa in kodai is also a very aesthetically appealing project

which uses various different materials. they use coffer slabs to
minimise the usage of rcc. use locally available materials for
their interiors
based on the site contour they created a pond for wildlife and
rejuvinating the underground water table

all of their projects are created based on a story the site has
given them, thus creating projects that are more connected to
land and sensitive to the envirnoment
