Directions: In essay form, write what you have learned and the importance of
sports(basketball) in optimizing health and fitness.
Ans.
Playing basketball makes improvement and it’s just like an exercise. It makes your
mind sharper ,more alert and think to fast. Like what moves you’re going to do? How
can you get the ball from your foe, make sure that you are the right angle to perfectly
shoot the ball into the basket.
Playing basketball improves social skill, a basketball player meets new person and
always communicating with people their group is a kind of social thing, greetings,
knowing each other and having friends and of course they meet new people,
member of the group that going to have match with them. Emotional health people
that plays basketball as their hobbies are being happy when playing it, it helps
people to have a less chance of depression because they’re gonna use to play
basketball to be happy.
Basketball puts a lot of stress on the body and injuries can happen, so warming up,
stretching your muscles and joints, and cooling down is important.
Make sure you have plenty of fluids on hand and rehydrate regularly.
Basketball involves a lot of starting and stopping. While not renowned as an aerobic
sport, it is still a great workout that can help burn calories (an hour of basketball can
burn 630–750 calories)
build endurance ,improve balance and coordination and develop concentration and
self-discipline
Basketball puts a lot of stress on the legs, especially the knees and ankles, and puts
pressure on tight shoulders.
Protect yourself by becoming strong and flexible, as basketball is a very physically
demanding game.
