Topic Sentence : The teacher’s role in preventing school bullying

A. Main idea 1 : Teachers are in the influential position. (Smith et al, 2004)
1. Teachers as agents of socialization in school will influence students to improve
their knowledge and behaviour.
2. Teachers are main character in school to educate social skill such as promote
healthy relationship between their students.

B. Main idea 2 : Teachers can act as psychological and active support.

1. Teachers can support by listening empathically to the students who have bullying
experienced (Righy, 2000)
2. Teacher can help students who are victimized by providing social skill such as
social problem solving and manage their emotions. (Hanish and Guerra, 2000)

C. Main idea 3 : Teacher has right to intervene preventing school bullying. (Seidel
and Oertel, 2017)
1. Teachers can command other students to be cooperate when the bullying incident
happens.
2. Teachers can setting up strategies to prevent bullying incidents.

Concluding Sentence:
Teachers are influential position and agents of socialization in the school have
importance role to prevent all types of bullying that are most likely happens in
education environment. They are holding the big role, one of them is right to
intervene preventing school bullying.
