The purpose of intersubjectivity in interacting with the differently abled persons

Intersubjectivity refers to the shared awareness and understanding among persons and it equips an
individual with the ability to empathize by enabling a person to place himself or herself in the shoes of
others that leads to a greater understanding and appreciation of others. Another mere purpose of
intersubjectivity in dealing with people with disability is that it constructs an idea that all human persons are
equal and should be recognize.
