bureau’s commitment in promoting mental awareness and
psycho-spiritual well-being amidst the COVID-19
Pandemic, as one of the government agencies, Sta.
Catalina Integrated National High School (SCINHS),
implemented strategies to promote personnel’s physical,
psychological and psycho-spiritual wellness.
With reference to Executive Order (EO) No. 273 on
Approving and Adopting the Philippine Plan for Gender
Responsive Development (1995-2025), Magna Carta of
Women and the General Appropriations Act (GAA) which
require government agencies, state universities and
colleges (SUCs), government-owned and controlled
corporations, local government units (LGUs) and other
government instrumentalities to formulate their annual
Gender and Development (GAD) Plans and Budgets, the
school will conduct its Annual Gender and Development
Activity on September 2021.
Objectives The GAD 2021 activity aims to:

promote Professional Development among the teaching and non-teaching
personnel, and to respond to the needs of the times in “Combat to COVID-
19: Advocating Sustainable Preventive Measures for Teacher’s Safety and

Gender Advocacy Development on September 23-24, 2021 in Blended

2. Theme of this year’s event is “Combat to COVID-19: Advocating

Sustainable Preventive Measures for Teacher’s Safety and Well-
Being”.

3. Participants to the said capacity building are the teaching and non-
teaching staf of the school.

4. Food expenses, Internet load allowance, Advocacy Materials and the

COVID-19 related materials and paraphernalia, Resource Speaker
Honoraria and other administrative and incidental expenses shall be
charged against the school’s Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses
(MOOE) 5% GAD Fund, subject for usual accounting and auditing
procedures and funds availability.

attached herewith as Enclosures.
