STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am nurtured in a Hindu home where education is highly valued. My parents, who instilled strong morals
inside me and have always, emphasized on the importance of education, and they are so supportive of my
ambition to pursue an education overseas. I recall precisely that it was in March 2009, when I finished my
Secondary Schooling test from the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary School Board and the results were
made public, and I scored 64.00 %. It was a critical time because I had to make the critical wise decision about
my further study, which will help me choose a better career option. Since I am raised in the Joint Family
tradition, which is a lovely culture, everyone has most likely listened to and believed in their ideals.
After conducting some own research, I decided to pursue a career in the science field. Then, in March - 2011, I
received a 54.13 % on my high school examination from Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education
Board. After passing my senior school examinations, in June 2011, I was able to enroll at Shivaji University,
where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and graduated in April 2014 with 70.14%. After
for practical knowledge and experience I worked as Accounting Manager at Mizeoo Treds from 1 June 2014 to
1 March 2017. Later for managerial knowledge I jointed Prathana Enterprise as Accounting Manager from 1
May to 2017 to till date.
My family was more concerned about me when I informed them that I desire to continue my higher education
on foreign soil, and that's when I began researching numerous countries that offer the courses of interest.
After investigating countries such as the United States, Canada, and London that offer a range of courses, I
excluded Canada and the United States from my list because I believe the temperature is too cold for me in
Canada, and the United States is not safe because the crime rate is much higher than minimal.
There is a plethora of other reasons to choose London, including the fact that the UK offers better living
standards at affordable costs of living and tuition than other countries like the USA and Canada. After finishing
my upper secondary school, I had a multitude option for where to pursue my bachelor's degree, but the
biggest obstacle was deciding which nation would be best for me in terms of living expenditures, climate, and
lifestyle. When considering studying abroad, additional expenses that are not related to tuition must be
properly considered. It's necessary to consider the typical cost of living, which includes the price of rent and
other living expenditures for the duration of the course as within the nation also; it differs from city to city. A
university degree from the USA or Canada is highly valued, yet the tuition is incredibly expensive than the UK.
Depending on whether you attend a public or private institution, tuition in the US typically costs around
$28,000 a year, but it is quite possible for it to reach up to $50,000. The average tuition fee in Canada is
approximately US$12000, with prices ranging from US$7500 to US$26000. However, compared to these two
countries, the average tuition is lower in the UK.
It is undeniable that America is home to some of the top colleges in the world. Five of the top ten universities
in the world, including MIT, Harvard, and Stanford, are located in the United States, according to historical
rankings records. Students get access to some of the greatest instructors and research facilities in the world as
they explore a wide range of topics and pursue highly specialized fields of study however it is so costly to
survive in USA. Meanwhile The University of Toronto, British Columbia, and McGill University are world-class
institutions to study, despite the fact that Canadian universities have three entries in the top 100. Canada is
midway between the UK and the US in terms of flexibility. Within the boundaries of a predetermined
curriculum, it allows for course selection inquiry and customization.
Whereas, four of the UK's prestigious institutions, including the Oxbridge, are ranked in the top 20 in the
world for their reputation as having a top-notch educational system. Classes are lecture-based and final grade
is entirely determined by the end-of-term exams. Because the legal systems in both nations are so similar, the
UK especially attracts Indian students. The final degree selection is done throughout the application process in
the UK, which compiles to a rigid system. The crime rate in the United States and Canada is also an important
consideration. Therefore, studying there is not safe for overseas students, but studying in the UK is quite safe.
Also, The UK has a long-storied tradition in excellent higher education. Since around a quarter of British
universities are among the most reputed and highest ranking in the world. By studying in the UK, I’ll not only
achieve world-class education, I’ll also get to know more about the unique British culture and perfect my
English language and skills. One of the most cosmopolitan places on earth, I’ll meet all kinds of people and
have an enriching study experience. The quality of education and academic Excellency are some of the main
factors that make the UK one of the most popular study destinations in the world.
Reason behind not to study in India is the typical education system of it, universities more emphasis on
theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge. Moreover, in some part of the India there is reservation
system that some students are getting selected based on their casts not from percentage and academic
accomplishments. The instruction given in schools and colleges are not contributing to the personality of
mankind. Also, system is following old-fashioned curriculum and is studied in late intermissions from many
years. Indian education system is 85-95% theory whereas UK education system emphasizes more on practical
skills. Indian system of assessment is mostly examination based while UK system assesses students through
assignments, essays, seminars, projects etc. With Indian education I will never get multicultural experience
which I will gain from UK.
After deciding on a location, I must consider a university or institution where I can receive a high-quality
education. I am afraid to travel to new places as an international student, but I am eager to learn more about
management. There are many universities in the UK to choose from, including Teesside University, Coventry
University, Kingston University London, the University of Birmingham, the University of Manchester, the
University of Warwick, and Middlesex University London, but I chose the University of Sunderland because of
the study environment it provides. The primary goal is to prepare students to enter the white market. There
are many opportunities to prepare us for working life, whether through mentoring, volunteering, or
internships, and the faculties are supported by a number of service departments responsible for a wide range
of activity such as student welfare and accommodation, as well as teams with responsibility for managing the
University estate, financial matters, and human resources.
The University of Sunderland was ranked 99th out of 131 in The Complete University Guide League Tables
2021, an improvement from the previous year when the university was ranked 102nd out of 129. In 2001, The
Guardian named the university England's best new university. The Times Higher Education Supplement named
it the best university in England for providing the best student experience in 2005. In the Times Higher
Education Supplement Awards 2012, it was one of six universities shortlisted for 'University of the Year.'
Overall, 6% of research was classified as "world leading," while 26% was classified as "internationally
excellent," with the university having a GPA of 2.12. As a result, I've decided to continue my education at your
esteemed university in the United Kingdom. The diversity of people from every culture, nation, race, and
religion would also help me develop my overall self-esteem.
During Master of Business Administration MBA at The University of Sunderland, I will be taught upon various
modules such as Strategic Leadership for a Sustainable Future, International Business in Context, Digital
Enterprise and Innovation, Corporate Governance and Financial Management and many more which will help
me to gain knowledge on business in a better way. The course materials' goal is to provide me with a thorough
understanding of various business concepts and ideas. With an MBA, I will be able to analyze business
operations and differentiate between domestic and foreign companies. Globalization is taking centre stage,
and companies all over the world are focusing on expanding their brands beyond their borders. In this case,
experience running multinational corporations will be more valuable than more traditional managerial skills.
Throughout my MBA, I will have the opportunity to communicate with and network with global business
experts. My sensitivity and empathy will improve as a result of being exposed to a variety of languages,
cultures, and races. I may also gain the cultural sensitivity needed to collaborate with people from different
cultures and understand different points of view. The variety of disciplines will contribute to the development
or enhancement of my understanding of business and management, as well as my interpersonal
communication skills. In my opinion, getting an MBA is a great career move.
Because my family lives in India, I will return to my home country. Furthermore, because technology is
advancing and managers are in high demand right now, I intend to launch my venture after gaining sufficient
practical experience in my hometown. By studying in the United Kingdom, I will break the mould and stand out
for placement in large corporations. I'll begin by working for other companies to gain more real-world
experience, and then I'll replicate everything to start my own business. Another reason for returning to India is
that my parents have gone to great lengths to ensure that I receive the best further education possible in
order to secure my future.
I truly hope that your university's admissions staff will find my application qualified for the course I've chosen
and admit me to your esteemed school.

Yours faithfully,
SUHAGIYA VISHAL BHARATBHAI
