STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I am nurtured in a Hindu home where education is highly valued. My parents, who instilled strong morals
inside me and have always, emphasized on the importance of education, and they are so supportive of my
ambition to pursue an education overseas. I recall precisely that it was in March 2008, when I finished my
Secondary Schooling test from the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary School Board and the results were
made public, and I scored 57.08%. It was a critical time because I had to make the critical wise decision about
my further study, which will help me choose a better career option. Since I am raised in the Joint Family
tradition, which is a lovely culture, everyone has most likely listened to and believed in their ideals.
After conducting some own research, I decided to pursue a career in the science field. Then, in March - 2010, I
received a 71.86 % on my high school examination from Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education
Board. After passing my senior school examinations, in June 2010, I was able to enroll at Veer Narmad South
Gujarat University, where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and graduated in April 2013
with 54.21%. As experience is essential, I worked with Hetvi Brass as a sales executive from 1 st May 2013 to
10th October 2020. Further, I jointed IIFL Finance as a gold appraiser at senior office grade from 12 th October
2020 to 12th August 2021. I also worked with Fedbank Financial Services Limited as a customer service
executive from 16th August 2021 to 1st April 2022. For more experience I jointed Fincare Small Finance Bank as
deputy manager - retail loan against gold in loan against gold. For now, I am working with Capril Global as an
assistant manager from 24th May 2022 to till date.
As per my point of view, one of the most popular places to study in the globe today is the UK. The United
Kingdom has a lot to offer international students that other English-speaking nations cannot, including
longstanding traditions of quality, world-class institutions on every corner, and considerably more flexibility
than many other nations. The number of international students has been continuously increasing over the
years, and they have always played a significant role in the UK. After the US, the UK is the second most
popular location for overseas students. The UK has made a concerted effort to take advantage of the US's
post-9/11 visa restrictions as well as the rising demand for English language instruction.
The world recognizes UK higher education institutions' degrees and credentials as being of the highest caliber.
Some of the more established institutions with well-known names, like Oxford and Cambridge, set the bar for
excellence, but too many colleges and universities in the UK continue the tradition. This might be a very strong
selling point for in the future if students are looking for work. Students could save money compared to a US
institution because degrees in the UK often take less time to complete than in other nations. The majority of
degree programs in the UK are three years long, however four-year programs are becoming more and more
common. A master's program normally lasts between one and two years.
UK authorities are taking note of a worrying trend in the cost of education for non-EU students, despite the
fact that international students can manage their finances such that their study in the UK is reasonable. The
cost of living in the UK might increase if currency rates rise. Additionally, unlike many other EU nations, the UK
charges non-EU students more than students from other EU nations. The UK needs to take action to control
and lower tuition and fees to be competitive in the race for international students, according to a recent
analysis from the Higher Education Policy Institute. The UK is likely to take aggressive action to maintain its
status as a top destination for overseas students as the worldwide competition for those pupils heats up.
As we are all aware, the Indian education system has always been based on conventional teaching methods. In
other terms, students can refer to it as the gurukul system, where they received all forms of education. They
weren't obscure in any way. They used to study literature, archery, yoga, music, and other subjects. But
throughout time, our educational system saw a lot of changes, and the contemporary educational system was
born. In reality, if someone attempts for other disciplines, they will have to give it up halfway because there
won't be enough opportunities in such fields. The Indian government does not offer the resources or
environment necessary for the growth of a different field. In India, hobbies such as sports, photography,
acting, and music are valued more than careers. The educational system excludes it.
The reason for not studying in India is that its education system is based on theoretical knowledge rather than
practical knowledge. Furthermore, in certain parts of India, there is a reservation system in place, and some
students are chosen based on their castes rather than their percentages and academic achievements. The
education provided in schools and universities does not contribute to the development of humanity's
personality. Furthermore, for many years, the system has followed an outdated curriculum and has been
studied at late intermissions. The Indian education system is 85-95% theoretical, whereas the UK education
system stresses practical skills.
After deciding on a location, I must consider a university or other educational institution where I can receive a
high-quality education. As an international student, I'm hesitant to visit new places, but I'm eager to learn
more about management. Despite the fact that there are numerous universities in the United Kingdom to
choose from, including the University of East London, Teesside University, the University of Hertfordshire, De
Montfort University, Birmingham City University, The University of Liverpool, and Anglia Ruskin University, I
determined that Northumbria University would be the best place for me to pursue my academic goals.
Northumbria University is one of the largest and most successful universities in the United Kingdom, with
nearly 26,000 students from more than 140 countries.
Northumbria University was founded in 1969 as Newcastle Polytechnic and became a university in 1992. Its
constituent colleges date back to the late 1800s. It provides classes in a wide range of important subject areas,
including engineering, computing, science, business, law, design, the built and natural environment, the arts,
social sciences, psychology, sport, and health, among many others. Its lecturers are subject-matter experts as
well as passionate educators. It offers a variety of conversion masters for people looking to change careers, as
well as postgraduate programs that require a first degree in a specific field and several courses with
professional accreditation.
Northumbria University is Europe's only business school with dual AACSB accreditation in accounting and
business. In UK quality audits, Northumbria consistently outperforms other modern universities, placing it at
the very top. Northumbria University is one of the best for graduate employment, with more than 95% of
graduates employed or enrolled in further education. International students have free access to Student
Services and dedicated Student Advisors. Student Services provides a meet and greet service that includes
airport pickups and transportation to the institution. Upon arrival, students are given an orientation and
introduced to faculty and fellow students. In a recent Financial Times survey, Northumbria was rated as having
the best student support.
Northumbria University guarantees housing for all first-year students once an offer is accepted. There are over
5,000 rooms available, both self-catered and catered, and all lodging is within walking distance of the main
buildings or has easy access to public transportation. Newcastle is in northeast England, four hours by train
north of London. With a population of nearly 200,000, the city was named the best city for students in 2011.
Students of all backgrounds may find something to see and do in the city, which is divided in half by the
renowned River Tyne and is home to a variety of cultural activities such as galleries, museums, nightlife, and
shopping.
During my Business and Management MSc at Northumbria University this course aims to develop
contemporary skills that will enable me to develop effective strategies to successfully build sustainable, digital
enterprises. I will have the opportunity to attend a residential where I will work collaboratively with peers,
enhance my leadership and team-working abilities through increased self-awareness and knowledge of group
processes. The course culminates in either a dissertation, or consultancy project- tackling an issue faced by a
real client, or if I prefer, a master's management enquiry project - working with others as a team to explore a
business issue. These can be related to any business and management discipline, given the wide and varied
content of this master's programmed.
Graduates of this course can typically expect to go into professional and graduate management position. I may
choose to start a career within an industry that is related to the subject that I studied during my first degree or
I may prefer to take on a completely new challenge. If I decide to start up my own business, it’s good to know
that the combined turnover of our graduates’ start-up companies is higher than that of any other UK
university. The Business with Management Masters could also lead me to a postgraduate research degree
such as an MPhil, PhD and Professional Doctorate. Throughout my course I will get knowledge through
modules such as Research Methods and Analytics for Business Practice, Leadership and Management
Development, Strategy and Marketing, Masters' Management Enquiry, Globalisation, Innovation and
Sustainability, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Masters Consultancy Project and many more.
The training will assist me in thinking strategically and developing an effective global company plan. We
investigate ideas, points of view, and concepts related to corporate and competitive strategy. I'll discover how
evaluating a company's external strengths and weaknesses can assist it in making strategic decisions. I will also
look at the economic environment in which multinational corporations operate, fundamental economic
theories in the context of global commerce, and the potential effects of economic shocks or events on
multinational corporations and their overseas operations. I will be able to critically evaluate information
systems in order to ensure their effectiveness in assisting management decisions, as well as provide
conceptual and analytical frameworks that will allow them to query management processes and systems,
scrutinize management information, and competently communicate it to others.
Since my family resides in India hence, I will return to my home country. In addition, because technology is
advancing and managers are in great demand right now, I intend to start my venture after getting enough
practical experience once back in my hometown. By studying in the UK, I will break the pattern and will stand
out of the box for placement in giant corporations. I'll start working for other businesses to gain more real-
world experience, and then I'll reproduce everything to start my own enterprise. My parents are another
reason for heading back to India, since they've taken many steps to ensure that I receive the greatest further
education possible in the future to secure my future.
I truly hope that your university's admissions staff will find my application qualified for the course I've chosen
and admit me to your esteemed school.

Yours faithfully,
SUTARIYA VISHALKUMAR DUNGARSHIBHAI
