I LOVE YOU SINCE 1892

I Love You Since 1892, abbreviated as ILYS1892 on Wattpad, is a Filipino tale by Undeniably
Gorgeous. It was written on June 1, 2016, and finished on April 27, 2017. Juanito Alfonso and
Carmela Montecarlos' romantic adventure is depicted in the historical fiction ILYS1892 as a
tragic love story. The story takes place in the present day and late nineteenth centuries. The story
I love you since 1892 was first published in 2018.

In I Love You Since 1892, Carmela Isabella, a spoiled brat from Montecarlos' rich hierarchy,
discovers she has a great-grandmother who looks exactly like her. Carmelita Montecarlos was
the youngest sibling of their late great-grandmother, who died because of her unhappy love affair
with one of their town's wealthiest people, Juanito Alfonso, who was shot on their wedding day
by an unknown gunman. After learning about her late grandmother's story, her youthful journey
becomes historically magical. ILYS1892 is one of my preferred Wattpad stories. Despite the
cliché story, the author includes numerous plot twists that made me fall in love with the book. I
also enjoy the development of the characters in the story, particularly Carmela Isabella. What I
also like about the book is that it is historical fiction, so the author keeps feeding the readers
historical events that happened in our country that were not always taught in school. Choosing
the historical fiction genre was a wise decision for her because, as a reader, I enjoy books that
deal with historical events from the past.

In the story, Carmela fights for Juanito, and he also does. She constantly reminds Juanito to stay
alive. They got into much trouble, and Juanito nearly died several times. Carmela demonstrated
that love knows no age. And Juanito shows that love is worth fighting for. They both proved that
love is worth the risk. The story taught me that love knows no bounds. No matter how difficult
the situation, if you genuinely love someone, you will fight for them regardless of the cost,
whether it is your life or not. When destiny is against you, loving someone to the point where
you don't want to lose them is tough. Because of the many shocking and heartbreaking events,
this story is genuinely a tear-jerker. I wish they would publish an English version of this story so
that others, particularly those in foreign countries, could read it.

I can tell you that readers and critics have given "I Love You Since 1892" a lot of positive
reviews. The book is praised for its beautiful writing, complex characters, and impactful ideas. "I
Love You Since 1892" is a must-read for readers who enjoy historical fiction, magical realism,
and tragic love stories. I highly suggest everyone read this. It's well worth reading.
