Today, we would like to present three research titles that our group intends to focus on.

The following are our chosen study proposals:

 Perceptions of Married Adult Couples Towards Early Marriage on Teens Aged 15-
18 Years Old
 Students’ Perspective: Grammatical and Linguistic Difficulties Faced by Grade-11
HUMSS Students in Writing Essay
 Effects of social media on Grade-11 HUMSS Students’ Perceptions of Their Bodies
and Self-Worth

Perceptions of Married Adult Couples Towards Early Marriage on Teens Aged 15-18 Years Old
Our group observed that the frequency of teenage marriage has dramatically grown in our generation
and several students were influenced. We were interested in evaluating its societal impact. We were
more interested in knowing about the elders' thoughts on this issue and the differences between adult
marriage and teen marriage.

This study shows married adult couples’ views on teenagers aged 15–18 getting married at an early
age.

Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What problems do adult think are occurring in early marriage? (What are the main drawbacks of
young marriage?)

2. What are the elders' opinions on how teens tackle the issues associated with early marriage?

3. What are the distinctions between adult and young marriages in terms of social and financial
obligations, as well as their overall effects on society?

The next study we would like to tackle about is:

Students’ Perspective: Grammatical and Linguistic Difficulties Faced by Grade-11 HUMSS

Students in Writing Essay
The fact that essay writing is so important to the field means that it is one of the most frequent
assignments given to HUMSS students. Even though we often write essays, it appears that little progress
has been made, and many students continue to struggle. One in particular is the grammatical and
linguistic difficulties the students have when writing essays. Our group set out to learn more about this
topic in the hopes that it would address our concerns and suggest potential solutions for the problems
associated with essay writing.

This study deals with the grammatical and linguistics difficulties faced by Grade-11 HUMSS students in
writing essay.

Specifically, this study aims to answer the following questions:

1. What grammatical mistakes do Grade-11 HUMSS students make the most frequently, and how
do these mistakes affect the overall caliber of their writing?

2. How does a limited vocabulary influence students' ability to communicate their views in essays?

3. What strategies may be employed to enhance the coherence and clarity of G11 HUMSS
students' essays and how does a lack of understanding of linguistic structures, such as the usage
of cohesive devices, affect this?

The last study we would like to focus on is:

Effects of social media on Grade-11 HUMSS Students’ Perceptions of Their Bodies and Self-
Worth
Social media currently dominates the whole digital landscape. Many individuals utilize it, particularly
students who are similar to us in age. With social media, we may follow bloggers, influencers, and
famous people to get a glimpse into their everyday life. We wanted to pay particular attention to how
students' use of social media impacted their opinions of their bodies and sense of worth. Due of its
widespread use, social media has an effect on a person's personality, beliefs, and behavior. That is what
we want to discover.

This study determines the effects of social media on Grade-11 HUMSS students’ perceptions of their
bodies and self-worth.

Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the role of social media in changing the views of students about themselves and their
bodies?
2. What social media platforms are most likely to influence how students perceive their bodies,
and what elements have a significant impact on how they perceive their own value and
confidence?

3. How does the students' image of their own lives be affected by following social media
influencers and witnessing their outward look and daily activities?
