1. Harry Potter: As mentioned before, Harry is the protagonist of the story.

He is an
orphan who discovers that he is a wizard and that he has a connection to the dark
wizard Voldemort. He is brave, loyal, and determined, but also struggles with the
trauma of his past and the weight of his destiny.
2. Ron Weasley: Ron is Harry's best friend and one of his closest allies throughout the
series. He comes from a large and poor wizarding family and often struggles with
feelings of inadequacy compared to Harry's fame and wealth. Ron is known for his
sense of humor and his loyalty to his friends.
3. Hermione Granger: Hermione is a Muggle-born witch who is extremely intelligent and
hard-working. She becomes one of Harry's closest friends and often helps him with his
studies and other problems. She is also fiercely independent and stands up for what
she believes in.
4. Albus Dumbledore: Dumbledore is the wise and powerful headmaster of Hogwarts. He
is one of the few wizards that Voldemort fears, and he serves as a mentor to Harry
throughout the series. Dumbledore is known for his enigmatic and mysterious
personality, as well as his tragic backstory.
5. Severus Snape: Snape is a professor at Hogwarts and the head of the Slytherin house.
He is a complex and often antagonistic character who is loyal to Dumbledore and the
Order of the Phoenix, but also has a deep-seated hatred for Harry's father, James.
Snape's true loyalties and motivations are not always clear, and he becomes one of
the most controversial characters in the series.
6. Lord Voldemort: Voldemort is the main antagonist of the series. He is a dark wizard
who seeks power and immortality, and is feared and hated by many characters in the
wizarding world. Voldemort's ultimate goal is to kill Harry, who he sees as his greatest
threat.
7. Hagrid: Hagrid is the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts, and serves as a mentor
and friend to Harry. He is a half-giant and often gets into trouble due to his naivete
and trusting nature. Hagrid has a soft spot for dangerous creatures, and often
introduces Harry and his friends to new and exotic animals.
These characters, and many others, are an integral part of the rich and complex world of
Harry Potter. Each character brings their own unique perspective and personality to the story,
and their interactions and relationships drive the plot forward.
