www.bseindia.com The website of the Bombay Stock Exchange is one of the most active and dynamic websites. It is a step forward towards making the Indian capital markets more efficient. The main focus of this website is therefore the Indian capital markets. The website focuses mainly on the Equity, Debt and Derivative markets. The contents of this website mainly provide information that is relevant to these specific markets. Starting with details about the Bombay Stock Exchange, it traces the evolution of the Indian capital markets. The Notifications tab provides all the information that is required for the conduct of day to day business in the capital markets. The endeavor of BSE is to provide complete information to the market participants. This tab provides comprehensive information about the various circulars that have been issued by the regulator, the Settlement calendar for the exchange, the list of suspended companies as also the entities debarred by SEBISENSEX, is Indias first and most popular Stock Exchange Index and has been developed by BSE. Other than this there are various other indices that have been developed by the BSE. The information about the indices helps the various market participants in analyzing the development of the various sectors/companies and accordingly facilitates in the formation of their strategies. The Indices tab provides information about other indices such as BSE 100, Dollex series for BSE indices, Index Highlights, Ratios etc. The Public Issues/Reverse Book building/Buyback tab provides comprehensive information about the Public issues that have been launched either through fixed price / book building /both and other relevant information. The Listings tab provides the details and guidelines about Listing, information about change of company name. The Corporate Filings tab has exhaustive information about various corporate actionssuch as Board meetings. The shareholding pattern of the companies also can be known. The disclosures mandated by the regulator regarding Insider Trading and SAST (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) are also listed on this tab. The Vision Statement along with the detailed Corporate Structure of the BSE gives additional information of the BSEs focus. The BSE prides itself in being the icon of the Indian capital market and accordingly the website provides ample information about the Indian capital market. www.nseindia.com The setting up of the NSE in 1992 was a step taken by the Government to provide access to all investors on an equal footing. It facilitated the rapid development of the Indian capital market with the introduction of the internet trading, Exchange Traded Funds, stock derivatives and first volatility index. The tabs provided such as Equity, F&O, Debt, SLBS etc. provide detailed information classified under the following main heads: Market information Trading Clearing and Settlement Risk Management The IPO tab provides information about the details of Public issues---Book building/Reverse Book building/Buybacks etc. The information regarding Corporate Actions is covered under the tab Corporate. It also provides other relevant information about Corporate. The ETF tab provides information about the Exchange Traded Funds on NSE and regarding their creation and redemption. The MF tab gives information about the service of NSE regarding MF known as the

MFSS which can be accessed through NEAT (National Exchange for Automated Trading). The tab Indices provides comprehensive information about the various indices developed by NSE. The NSCCL tab provides lot of useful information regarding the procedures, products, services and risk management followed by NSC CL. The training functions of the NSE are well recognized in the capital market and NCFMNSEs Certification in Financial Markets, is an application oriented training module which prepares the trainees for functioning in the Indian capital markets. Information regarding this is provided in the NCFM tab.
