dispute- A serious argument or disagreement.
chain of command- A system in an organization by which decisions are made and
passed from people at the top of the organization to people lower down or from
lower to higher in the organization.
mediate- To try to help two groups, countries, etc. to stop arguing and make an
agreement.
conflict- Angry disagreement between people, groups or countries. Fighting or a
war.
solution- A way of solving a problem or difficult situation.
situation- A combination of all the things that are happening and all the
conditions that exist at a particular time and place.
dean- A university official with high rank.
resolution- A final solution to a problem or difficulty.
rights- Morally correct, or done according to law.
tolerate- To accept something even though you do not like it.
