ANNA'S OBITUARY

Anna Elizabeth Kraaijeveld Jasek, 93, of Round Rock, Texas passed away peacefully
on Feb. 3rd, 2018 at her home.

Anna was born on Jan. 25th, 1925 in Sliedrecht, Netherlands to Korstiaan


Kraaijeveld and Tannetje Daansen Kraaijeveld.

In 1939, with World War II approaching, the family had to flee. Anna, her parents,
and her young brother sought refuge in Willemstad, Curacao. There, she met and
married U.S. Army Technical Sgt. 4 Albert William Jasek of Crosby, Texas.

After the war, they moved to the Houston area where she worked as a radiology
technician in Baytown and earned her U.S. citizenship. Later, Anna became a
Registered Laboratory Technician and worked at MD Anderson for many years.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, beloved brother Jan Kraaijeveld Bogard,
and ex-husband Albert William Jasek.

Anna is survived by her only daughter Lisa Elaine Jasek Hunt, son-in-law David
Curtis Hunt, grandson David Glenn Mueller and his wife Sarah Marie Nathanson
Mueller, great-grandchildren Carson David Mueller and Abigail Kate Mueller, sister-
in-law Barbara Graham Bogard, and several dear cousins from the Netherlands.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 8th from 5 to 7pm at Beck Funeral Home in
Pflugerville; refreshments will be served. A private family ceremony and burial will
follow on a future date at Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock.
