~WRITING TASK~
BRAINSTORM
Look at the graph and make a note of the most important changes and
trends.
PLAN
Answer the following questions as you plan your description.
pág. 2
List three of the main changes.
II. Online fod shopping never had a drop. On the contrary, from 2011 to
2015 its purchases increased by the greatest amount, thus increasing its
prices and thus its demand.
III. In-store food shopping had purchases of $20 per week for the first 6
years and in 2013 its sales dropped, which continued more visibly
during 2015, positioning it very well along with the other market
competitors.
VI. Eating out had progressive increases but always lagged behind the other
options.
In general, what does the graph show about what we spend on food?
Well, from my point of view we can see that the graph shows us, several
important aspects to highlight the first would be how over the years we have
changed the method of making the purchase of food, the second that the place
where we usually eat has changed since sometimes we prefer to eat them in
other places as long as it is not in the establishment itself, The third is that if
consumer preferences in terms of ordering food online continue to increase, in
the future there will be practically no need for physical stalls to be able to
consume them, and all orders will be completely virtual, i.e., their place will
be online.

WRITE
In summary, the rise of online grocery shopping has had a significant impact
on in-store grocery shopping, which has drastically decreased this by
customer tastes and demand and so far online grocery shopping will
continue to grow over the years positively impacting the food industry and
consumer behavior.
