Sìrpplyofthe engine
The engineis suppliedvia a suctionpipe 1ìomthe upperedg€ofthe tank.Due to the short distancea fire
proof fuel pipe is usedthloughout.This is led via a wide-meshedfilter/ water separator,fi.rclpumpand
fine filter to the mpine andthenbackto the tank.

Protectfuewoodcareoik penehatede€pinto the timber, and underthe influatce of heat and moisture
can adverselyaffect the adhesionof the caulking material to the sidesof the joint. As a result, the seai
betweenthe caulkingmaterialand th€ sidesofteh joint may breakdoìÀn,allowing water to enter.
Paints and lacquersare decorativecoatingswhich, when appli€dto a teak deck,dry to fom a continuous
film over the caulking mateial as well. Somepaints will not dry properly wherethey coúe inîo contact

The corosion resistenceofall fittings is basedon their abilitj' to constitutea thin skin together\rith the

chrome).Butchrcme is in the galvaniccontactseriesnegativeand a bit lessvaluablethan iron. Ifthe thin
protectionskin is damag€dthe stainlesscr will be activ and less good than pÌre chrcme.The corrosion
can start.
wlìo is not disapointedaboutlittle brown spotson the fittings ? They arecausedby flying rust or particles
of iron, which are in the air and in all harboursplacednearbig towns. As soonas the flying rust settles
onto the protectivecoat ofth€ stainl€sssteel,it deshoysthe cr-passivityvery aggressiveand fast.
Stainlesssteelonly staysgood looking for a long time, if there'stakengoodcarc ofit.
Make it yoùr habit, to also clean the rail stanchions,pulpits and pushpits and all stainlessfittings
thoroughly,ifyou are washingyoul boat with clear water . Clear water will washawaythe salt, rust and
flying rust, the protectivecoatwill be "ventilated"andit's function is guamnteedagain.
lf you have alreadybrowì spots,you can use most of all availablemetal cleaningsto take care of the
stainlesssteelfittings or you takenomal polish like you useit for the hull.
Of course a1lthe best care can not help, if in the first place the fittings ar€ not madeout of the dght
materialor tÀestaùilessst€€lhasnot b€enteat€d colrect. Before you will buy the fitting, ask f.e. if the
fittinghasbeenpolishedelectrical.

4.2Coatings
You may contactyoù marina or the yard ifyou have any questionsconcemingthe coatings.Prefembly
you shouldrely on one systemof onemanufactwerdìat goeson well together.

4.3 Wearing- and spare parts


As an experiencedskipperyou will not have dilficulties in getting original spareparts.If you need any
help,pleasecontactthe yard.
If yoù n€ed any sparepafs but camot get the original onesyou have to pay attention to dìe stability
values1okeepthe yacht at the high technicalstandardit usedto haveat the time of delivery.

4.4 Repair work


Repairsat the hùll (polyesterfull laminateand polyestersandwichlaminate)can be implementedby a
reliable workshop consideringthe general rules for the processingof polyester resin. The interior
constructionwas designedin sucha way that a non-destructiveeliminationof defectscan be realised.In
