<CAUSE>
1. Safety circuit is broken.
2. “MC” Contactor contact is not input during the operation.

<ADDRESS>
0110 : 01 When safety circuit (29 relay) is normal
0119 : 01 When MC contact inputs

<MEASURES>
1) In case the 0110 data is 00, Check the relay X29 status.
if the 29 relay is off,
(1) Check the voltage between P110 and N110. It shall be DC110V±10%.
(2) Check the safety switches. Reset it(them) if it is(they are) tripped.

(3) Check the SIO BOARD and M33 BOARD connectors.


ERROR : F21 DWG : N/A
<CAUSE>
AST(Motor Run Time Limiter) is activated during the automatic operation.

<ADDRESS>
0B10 : 01 in case the AST ERROR occurred
A00E : AST TIME adjust

<MEASURES>
1. Check the data of address A00E. If the data is too small compare to the full travel
time, adjust it. It shall be "Full travel time + 10sec."

2. Check the travel speed. If the elevator moves in a low speed, check the inverter input
data as shown below.

The dots of each display panel digit shows inverter output as shown below.

The inverter input data shown on the display panel shall be identical to the input
data of inverter HHT.
Check the cable condition between SIO board and Inverter if the 2 data are NOT
identical.
ERROR : F42 DWG : N/A
<CAUSE>
The encoder pulse PA is abnormal during the initial operation.

<ADDRESS>
0141 : 01 when F42 ERROR Occurred.

<MEASURES>
1. Check the wiring status PA pulse of encoder.
2. Check the LCD sensors. It shall be turned on by following order during the upward
operation. ULA→ILU→ILD→DLA.
(During the down operation, it shall be DLA→ILD→ILU→ULA.
*** WARNING ***
DO NOT GO INTO THE ELEVATOR HOISTWAY TO CHECK LCD SENSORS.
IT SHALL BE CHECKED AT THE CONTROL PANEL SIO BOARD. IF IT IS
REQUIRED TO CHANGE LCD SENSOR, FULL ATTENTION SHALL BE PAID TO
PREVENT ANY ACCIDENTS.
IF YOU ARE NOT WELL TRAINED, DO NOT TRY TO RESET IT.
SET THE MAUTO/MCS SWITCH TO MCS POSITION TO PREVENT UNWANTED
ELEVATOR OPERATION BEFORE ANY ATTEMPT.

4. Check the above items and if the error does not reset at the bottom floor, change
the M33 board.
5. Check the encoder wiring and/or encoder if the above MEASURES are not working.
ERROR : F14 DWG : COL.03
<CAUSE>
The door-related signal(car door, hatch door interlock, hatch door safety) is/are NOT
input during the motor run.

<ADDRESS>
0112 : 01 when X40 relay contact is input. (car door safety contact)
0111 : 01 when X41 relay contact is input. (hatch door safety contact)
08D0 : 01 when hatch door safety contact is input
0732 : 01 when Retiring Cam(also called, Lock-magnetic) operation relay "LM" is
energized.

<MEASURES>
1. Check the car door gate switch, hatch door interlock switches and hatch door safety
switches.
2. After checking the switches, confirm the input status by checking their address.

3. In case the above address are NOT correctly input, Check the relay X40 and X41.
Check the voltage of the coil.
4. Check the retiring cam(Lock Magnetic) operation when the relay "LM" is energized.

The data of address 08D0 shall be 01 or, check the coil or spring of retiring cam.
5. When the DOOR CLOSE SIGNAL is outputted, check the data of address 0732.
It shall be 01. Check the relay "LM" condition.

Check also the actual retiring-cam condition when relay "LM" is energized.

ERROR : F24 DWG : COL.08
<CAUSE>
Occurred when there is NO door open limit switch signal or door close limit switch
signal during the door operation.

<ADDRESS>

0B49 : 01 when DOL_DCL error occurred.


012D : 01 when DCL signal input
012C : 01 when DOL signal input

** DOL, DCL switches are used "Normal Close" contacts so, when the signal shows 01
it means the switch is NOT activated.
When the switch is activated, the data will be 00.

<MEASURES>
1. Turn off the "DOOR" switch on car top and open/close the door manually.
Check the data of address 012C and 012D.

IF YOU ARE NOT WELL TRAINED, DO NOT TRY TO CHECK IT/THEM.
SET THE MAUTO/MCS SWITCH TO MCS POSITION TO PREVENT UNWANTED
ELEVATOR OPERATION BEFORE ANY ATTEMPT.

2. If the data is NOT normal, check the switches and their cabling.
3. Check the DOOR INVERTER error code.
4. Check the cabling between Car junction box and door inverter.
ERROR : F34 DWG : COL.08
<CAUSE>
The door close limit switch signal is NOT 00 after 15 sec. of door close command.
(Shortly, the door is NOT fully closed within 15sec. after the door close command.)
** DCL switch is used "Normal Close" contacts so, when the signal shows 01
it means the switch is NOT activated. When the switch is activated, the data will be 00.

<ADDRESS>
0B2A : 01 when F34 error occurred.

012D : 01 when DCL signal inputs (when the DCL switch is NOT activated.)

<MEASURES>
1. Check the obstruct in door sill.
2. Check the door close limit switch.

3. Refer to the F24 error solution.


ERROR : F44 DWG : COL.08
<CAUSE>
The door open limit switch signal is NOT 00 after 15 sec. of door open command.
(Shortly, the door is NOT fully opened within 15sec. after the door open command.)
** DOL switch is used "Normal Close" contacts so, when the signal shows 01
it means the switch is NOT activated. When the switch is activated, the data will be 00.

<ADDRESS>
0BF1 : 01 when F44 error occurred.

072D : 01 when OPEN commend outputs


012D : 01 when DOL signal inputs (when the DOL switch is NOT activated.)

<MEASURES>
1. Check the obstruct in door sill.
2. Check the door open limit switch.

3. Refer to the F24 error solution.


ERROR : F54 DWG : COL.03
<CAUSE>
The hatch door interlock switches, hatch door safety switches and car door gate switch
contacts are NOT input after 2 sec. of door close limit activation.

<ADDRESS>
0B26 : 01 when F54 error occurs
0112 : 01 when X40 relay contact is input
0BD3 : 01 when X40 and X41 relay contacts are input
08D0 : 01 when hatch door safety switches are operated.

<MEASURES>
1. Check the relay X40. If the X40 relay does NOT energized when the car door is
fully closed, check the gate switch.

IF YOU ARE NOT WELL TRAINED, DO NOT TRY TO RESET IT.
SET THE MAUTO/MCS SWITCH TO MCS POSITION TO PREVENT UNWANTED

2. Check the address 08D0. The data shall be 01 when all the hatch doors are closed.
Or, check the hatch door safety switches. (All floors)
*** WARNING ***

IF YOU ARE NOT WELL TRAINED, DO NOT TRY TO RESET IT.
SET THE MAUTO/MCS SWITCH TO MCS POSITION TO PREVENT UNWANTED
ELEVATOR OPERATION BEFORE ANY ATTEMPT OF RESET.

3. Check the status of relay LM. It shall be energized 1~2 sec. before motor run.
Check the relay X41. It shall be energized right after relay LM's magnetization.
4. Replace the SIO board.
ERROR : F64 DWG :COL.03, COL.05
<CAUSE>
The door close limit signal is NOT 00 but the hatch door interlock switches, hatch door
safety switches and gate switch are normal.

<ADDRESS>
0B27 : 01 when F64 error occurs
0112 : 01 when X40 relay is energized. (Gate switch)
0BD3 : 01 when X40 and X41 relays are energized.
08D0 : 01 when all the hatch door interlock switches are closed.

<MEASURES>
1. Check the DOOR CLOSE LIMIT SWITCH and its wiring.

2. See F63 error solution.


3. Check the relay condition of X41 and X40.
4. Change the M33 board if required.
ERROR : F15 DWG : N/A
<CAUSE>
The inverter 30B signal is NOT input.
*** 30B signal is an signal outputs from the main inverter. The signal means there in NO

error on main inverter.

<ADDRESS>
0B2D : 01 when F15 error is occurred.
0107 : 01 when 30B signal is input.

<MEASURES>
1. Check the data of address 0107. If the data is 00, check the followings.
1) Check the inverter error by INVERTER HHT.

2) If there is no error found, Check the wiring between INVERTER and SIO board.
2. Change the Main inverter if the inverter trouble remains.
3. Change the M33 board if all the items are normal.

*** WARNING *** HIGH VOLTAGE !!!

ERROR : F25 DWG : N/A
<CAUSE>
The RY1 signal is ON when there's no run signal from the system or,
The RY2 signal is off at any case.

** RY1 : On when the feed-backed speed is larger than 15 rpm.


(Normally the RY1 signal is ON when RUN signal is input)
RY2 : On when the feed-backed speed is same as ordered one.
(Normally the RY2 signal is always ON)

<ADDRESS>
0BAB : 01 when the INVERTER OUTPUT ERROR is occurred.
0104 : 01 when RY1 signal ON
0105 : 01 when RY2 signal ON

<MEASURES>
1. Check the brake coil and its pads.

2. Check the cable and connector between SIO board and inverter
3. Check the RY1 and RY2 signal by inverter HHT.
If the inverter HHT shows same result as it is in M33 board, check the followings.
․ RY1 : The output transistor may damaged.
․ RY2 :
1) The Encoder may malfunction or its cable is not connected correctly.
2) The ground condition is NOT good.
3) The output transistor may damaged.
4) The value of "02_INTERFACE 13_SPD_AGREE_WIDTH" is too low.

The recommended value is 0.7


6. Change the M33 or SIO board if the inverter and wiring are normal.
ERROR : F35 DWG : COL.02
<CAUSE>
The RY2 signal is NOT on after turning power on.

<ADDRESS>
034C : 01 when INVERTER SETTING error(F35) occurs
0105 : 01 when RY2 signal input

<MEASURES>
1. See the solution of F25.
ERROR : F45 DWG : COL.02
<CAUSE>
1. There is NO RY3 signal from the inverter within 1sec. after inverter start commend
(FWD(or REV) and X1) sent out.
2. There is NO RY2 signal from the inverter within 1sec. after inverter start commend
(FWD(or REV) and X1) sent out.

<ADDRESS>
0105 : 01 when RY2 signal inputs.
0106 : 01 when RY3 signal inputs.
0BC9 : 01 when there is NO RY3 signal during the motor run
0BD0 : 01 when there is NO RY2 signal during the motor run

<MEASURES>
1. See the solution of F21 error
2. Check the cables and their wirings.
ERROR : F17 DWG : COL.03
<CAUSE>
There is NO ULS signal or DLS one.
** ULS and DLS switches are used "Normal Close" contacts so, when the signal shows 01
it means the switch is NOT activated. When the switch is activated, the data will be 00.

<ADDRESS>
0B47 : 01 when ULS-DLS error occurrs

010A : 01 when ULS signal input. (01 when the ULS switch is NOT activated)
010F : 01 when DLS signal input. (01 when the DLS switch is NOT activated)

<MEASURES>
1. Check the switches conditions. Check also their cabling.

2. Check the connectors of SIO board.


3. Check the interface board in SIO board.
ERROR : F27 DWG : COL.03
<CAUSE>
There is NO PLU signal or PLD one.
** PLU and PLD switches are used "Normal Close" contacts so, when the signal shows 01
it means the switch is NOT activated. When the switch is activated, the data will be 00.

<ADDRESS>
0B48 : 01 when PLU/PLD error is occurred.

010B : 01 when PLU signal input


(01 when PLU switch is NOT activated.)
010E : 01 when PLD signal input

(01 when PLD switch is NOT activated.)

<MEASURES>
1. Check the switches conditions. Check also their cabling.

3. Check the interface board in SIO board.

<CAUSE>
Either of following condition meets.
1) ULA switch error : No ULA signal but the UL and DL signals are ON (when UP)
2) DLA switch error : No DLA signal but the UL and DL signals are ON (when DOWN)
3) LCD error : No UL and DL signal after 15 sec. of starting.
4) DZ LCD error : When UL and DL signals are disappeared while stopping.
5) START ERROR : There is NO new door zone signal within 35sec. after motor start.

<ADDRESS>
0B43 : 01 when ULA switch error occurs.
0B44 : 01 when DLA switch error occurs.
043F : 01 when LCD error occurs.
0B4C : 01 when DZ LCD error occurs.
0100 : 01 when ULA switch activated.
0101 : 01 when ILU switch activated.

0102 : 01 when ILD switch activated.


0103 : 01 when DLA switch activated.

<MEASURES>
1. Check the above addresses to fine what the exact error is.
2. Check the LCD sensors carefully. Replace the sensor if required.

3. Check the order of the switch operation. They shall be,


ULA → ILU → ILD → DLA (When moving UP)
DLA → ILD → ILU → ULA (When moving DOWN)
4. Check the speed of the elevator.
5. Check the LCD vane condition.

<CAUSE>
HALL HIP communication error

<ADDRESS> :
0BFE : 01 when F68 error occurred.
0648 : Communication error point (1~8FL)
0649 : Communication error point (9~16FL)

<MEASURES>
1. HALL HIP communication error
To find out exact floor where the communication is not good, check the following address.
1) 0648 : 1~8FL Communication error point

2) 0649 : 9~16FL Communication error point

Ex) If the data of address 0648 is “84”,

If the 84(decimal) is converted to binary, it would be, 10000100. It means,


FLOOR ----- 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 floor
DATA "84" by binary ---- 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0
there are communication errors on the 3rd and 8th floor.
If the address is “00” All floors (1~8 or 9~16) are clear.
If the address is “FF” All floors (1~8 or 9~16) are bad.

2. Check the HIP wiring and its cable.


Change HIP board to a new one. In this case check and adjust dip switches to set proper

address.

If the data is FF and cablings are good, check the M33 board HALL part communication
parts. Check the dip switch2.
ERROR : F78 DWG : N/A
<CAUSE>
IT MEANS THE ELEVATOR IS UNDER THE RESCUE OPERATION.
It is NOT an error.

<ADDRESS> : NONE

<MEASURES>
1. If the display keeps showing "F78" for a long time without motor start, check the
door, retiring cam condition and(or) inverter errors.
