    Listen to the news report on ‘Causes and Effects of Climate Change’ and
    answer the following questions.

    1. What is your opinion regarding the issue of climate change? Provide one
    reason to support your answer.

    In my opinion, climate change is a scientifically proven phenomenon produced


    by greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Rising global
    temperatures, sea-level rise, more frequent and severe weather events, and
    risks to biodiversity and human health are among the consequences. Climate
    change's potential impact on vulnerable communities and ecosystems is one
    reason for concern. To protect vulnerable groups and ensure a sustainable
    future for all, it is essential to mitigate its effects.

    2. What are the two human activities mentioned in the beginning of the news
    report that are fundamentally changing the world around us?
     Pollution.
     Overpopulation.

    3. In your opinion, what could be the cause of the issue stated in the news
    report? Justify your answer.

    The greenhouse effect, in my view, is the root of this problem. Water vapor,
    carbon dioxide, and other gases in the atmosphere capture sunlight's heat,
    enhancing the greenhouse effect and raising the Earth's temperature.

    because the areas where plants and animals can live shift and water supplies
    are diminished.

    The Greenhouse Effect on weather has the effect of increasing extreme weather due
    to higher temperatures. This means that big storms, floods, and heavy snowfall will
    be more intense, as well as longer and more frequent droughts.

    6. What are the best solutions to overcome this problem? List 2 possible solutions.
     Replace fossil fuels with renewable energy.
     Creates an awareness campaign.
