I am from The Republic of Korea, commonly

known as South Korea to distinguish it from North


Korea, is a sovereign country in East Asia, located
on the southern part of the Korean peninsula. It
limits to the north with North Korea, with which it
formed a single country until 1945, it belongs to the
continent of Asia. I was born in the capital Seoul, or
in its metropolitan area, which is one of the most
populous metropolitan areas in the world. Korea is
one of the oldest civilizations in the world. And my
nationality is Korean.
A very famous place is Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Located in the heart of Seoul, the palace was built in
1395 and was the first and largest of the five palaces
built during the Joseon Dynasty. The tours of the
palace are guided and free, but reservations are
necessary for groups of more than 10 people. You
can also take advantage of the visit to enter the
National Palace Museum of Korea and the Korean
People's Museum. We also find the Ichon Hangang
Park, Made up of Nodeulseom Island and the
Hangang River, the park is an ideal place to walk or
do any outdoor sport, such as volleyball, soccer,
baseball or basketball. Since 1998, the park has had
a skating rink where international competitions take
place along the river.

The typical breakfast has rice, eggs, vegetables and


meat, the one I like a lot is BIBIMBAP, this dish
has vegetables, noodles, meat and sauce. That you
have breakfast at 06 am.

The typical snack is after 09:30 am and is the

The typical food is the Bulgogi at a time of 03 pm,


it is one of the dishes that Koreans like the most.
Broadly speaking, it consists of marinated veal meat
and served “a la piedra”, that is, on a very hot stone
or iron surface or pan.
The name of this recipe comes from the
combination of the words “fire” (bul) and “meat”
(gogi), referring to the container in which it is
served at a high temperature.
Bulgogi is a recipe with more than a thousand years
of history and was prepared for Korean royalty
during the Joseon dynasty. Today, it is so popular
that we can even find bulgogi burgers in Korean fast
food outlets.
The typical dinner after 08 pm and Japchae is a
typical dish of Korean cuisine made of sweet potato
and cellophane noodles, prepared stir fried in
sesame oil with shredded beef and all mixed with
various vegetables, all flavored with soy sauce and
lightly sweetened with some sugar.
