Dear Madam,

Letter of appointment for the post of Tax Associate 1

We are pleased to confirm our offer to you to join ALN. Your employment will be subjected to the
following terms and conditions:

1) Position : Tax Associate 1

2) Date of commencement : 1 February 2023

3) Salary compensation : RM per month.

4) Bonus : Bonus will be paid based on performance/KPIs by

end of the calendar year.

5) Probation period : Three (3) months (This may be extended if required).

6) Working hours : Mondays to Fridays (8.30 am to 5.30 pm)

7) Annual leave : You will be entitled to fourteen (14) working days per
completed year of service. Such leave shall be taken
at a time convenient to both yourself and the Firm.

8) Medical benefits : You will be entitled to medical benefits with

maximum RM600 per completed year of service.
This includes medicines prescribed by the doctors
but does not include the cost of optical or other
appliances, nor does it include dental and maternity
expenses or medical attention and medicines for
yourself in respect of accidents occurring off the
premises and outside office hours when not on
official duty or when caused wilfully by yourself or by
your own negligence.

9) Medical leave : You will be entitled to fourteen (14) working days per
completed year of service. Such leave shall be taken
upon issuance of medical certificate by the doctors.

10) Hospitalisation leave : The sixty (60) working days of hospitalisation leave
includes the fourteen (14) working days medical
leave.

11) Maternity Leave : 60 consecutive days

12) Termination of employment : One (1) week’s notice from either party or one (1)
week’s salary in lieu of notice on probation.

Upon confirmation, your employment may be

terminated by three (3) months’ notice in writing on
either side or payment of three (3) month’s salary
(based on yearly average) in lieu of such notice.

13) Retirement age : The Firm’s mandatory retirement age is 60 years.

During your employment with us, we will naturally wish your conduct to be such as not to discredit
you or the Firm and you will be expected to perform the duties assigned to you in a loyal, efficient,
trustworthy and honest manner.

During the continuance of your employment with us, you will at all times faithfully and diligently
perform and observe such duties as may from time to time be assigned to you and devote the
whole of your time and attention to the discharge of the duties and functions devolved upon you.

Whilst under our employment, you are not allowed to be involved directly or indirectly in any
business contrary to ALN’s interest without the Partners permission. Breaching this would be a
violation of your employment contract and could result in the termination of your employment. You
shall not divulge any matters which may come to your knowledge, relating to the affairs of the
Firm or its staff.

This letter is given to you in duplicate. Your signature on the duplicate of this letter shall be taken
to signify your understanding and full acceptance of the conditions outlined herein.

You shall retain the original copy of this letter and return the duplicate bearing your signature to
ALN.
