CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF CANCER.

Cancer is the most prevalent silent killer heartlessly taking


away millions of lives each year. This is one of the top hierarchical
critical diseases in the current world. Hence, the following passages
will descriptively open up the possible causes and effects of this
deadly disease.
Firstly, age is the most important predisposing factor for
cancer. According to a recent analysis of the US Cancer Institute’s
Monitoring Epidemiology, and Outcomes Program, the average age
of cancer diagnosis is 66. A quarter of new cancer cases are
diagnosed in people aged 65 to 74.
Secondly, radiation of certain wavelengths is called ionizing
radiation. Its have enough energy to break AND and cause cancer.
Ionizing radiation includes radon, X-ray, gamma ray, and other
forms of high-energy radiation. However, low-energy, non-ionizing
forms of radiation, such as visible light and energy from cell phones
and electromagnetic fields, do not damage DNA and have not been
found to cause cancer.
Finally, getting the risk of cancer can affect plans such as
retirement, travel or parenting can be completely altered. Many
parents, upon learning that they have cancer, choose to hide the
condition from their children. However, children will be very
sensitive and can easily recognize unusual changes in their family,
even if they will think of extremely bad situations.
The causes and effects of cancer bring a lot of grief and loss
to people, to prevent and against this disease. We should have a
healthy diet and healthy living to have a healthy body and avoid
many unwanted problems.
