We wishes to conduct a study on the Use of Coconut (Coccus Nucifera) Fiber and Peanut
Shell (Arachis Hypogaea) as bioadsorbing agent for Lead (Pb2+) ion in Tap Water. These
three methods of adsorbing Lead (Pb2+) ion in tap water are independent variable and the
dependent variable is the adsorption procedure, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Mixture
of Peanut shell and Coconut fiber. Mean and ANOVA: two-factor or F-test: two-factor are
the statistical tools used. Mean is used to determine the adsorption of Lead (Pb2+) ion per
method. ANOVA or F-test is used to test the significant difference in adsorption Lead (Pb2+)
using the three methods. Id significant difference exists, this means that the three methods of
adsorption Lead (Pb2+) will really differ from each other because one method is the most
effective. If insignificant difference exists, the adsorption of Lead (Pb2+) ion using the three
methods will almost be the same.
