    I. RATIONALE

    Art and cultural events and activities like fairs, festivals, or sports competitions
    form social cohesion and solidarity, encouraging community closeness,
    empowerment, social tolerance, and civic pride.

    Supporting vibrant communities has plenty of perks. Besides bringing people of


    all walks of life together, a vibrant community plays a crucial role in the quality of
    its citizens’ life, lowering the likelihood of a feud between neighbors and
    preventing poverty.

    II. OBJECTIVES

    1. Bring Polomolokeños one in Arts and Culture.


    2. Advocates Arts belong to all.
    3. Presents a series of events that explore the many
    Faces of Arts and Culture of Polomolok.

    III. Operations Details.

    Target Beneficiaries: Special Program for the Arts (SPA) Teachers & Students,
    Local Artists, Cultural workers, Arts enthusiast, General Public.

    IV. SOURCE OF FUND: Cultural Heritage.

    Budgetary Requirements:

    1. Arts Months Celebration 50,000.00


    2. Local Culture and Arts Council and Sectoral 80,000.00
    (20,000.00 x 4)
    Quarterly Meeting
    3. Trainings and Workshops 25,000.00
    4. Travel and Bench Marking 30,000.00
    5. Supplies and Materials 15,000.00

    TOTAL: 200,000.00
