Homeschool Planning: Simple and Smart Tips

complete one worksheet. Teaching writing is one of the biggest hurdles homeschooling

While many of the suggestions focus on older students in 4th grade through high school,
you’ll still find tips you can apply to younger children. Take breaks every once in a while and
let them stretch their legs. You need to be flexible if your original schedule or routine needs
adjustment (I mean if you have no experience yet, it may take a little trial and error to figure
out exactly what works for you) but you definitely want to set some schedule guidelines. We

etc. Sometimes I'll put a particular category on the table and the boys do matching games,
and then compare them either to each other or to something in the house, ie, the clock. I
recommend letting your kids read on their own (out loud until they’re about grade 3) and then
