BMC MARD delegate had a meeting with Hon. Medical Education
Minister Shri. Girish Mahajan Sir, State of Maharashtra in which the
Vice President following assurances were provided after detailed discussions.

Dr Ashirwad Nagpurkar 1. Creation of 1432 SR seats across the state on priority basis
Dr Sagar Gavali 2. Funds will be released at the earliest for hostel renovation
and new infrastructure for accommodation for resident doctors in
General Secretary medical colleges and for District Residency Programme.
3. Regarding the issue of Dearness allowance and pending
Dr Chetankumar Adrat COVID arrears of resident doctors of BMC Medical colleges,
Dr Vijayadhaarani S
based on the telephonic conversation between the Minister
and the Hon. Municipal Commissioner, BMC, we were assured
Finance Secretary resolution of our issues in two-day time period. If not resolved,
the Minister has also assured to arrange for a meeting with the
Dr Rutuja Pokalwar
Dr Sudhir Dhanage Hon.Chief Minister Shri Eknathji Shinde Sir and the municipal
authority.

Based on this meeting and in good faith, with sincere consideration to
Dr Akhilesh Moktali patient care and our duties as doctors, we have unanimously decided to
Dr Vinay Kumar join back duties from today.
