WDC DG Hannahs News Bytes

Letter From the President by Katie Novaria

Fall has arrived and so has your September edition of DC Hannah's News Bytes, the official enewsletter of the Washington, D.C. Alumnae Chapter. First I want to congratulate the chapter for being among the top 10 Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapters who logged the most Service for Sight hours for the year. This shows true dedication to the philanthropic goals and ideals of Delta Gamma. Way to go ladies, keep up the good work! We had a fun summer with our Delta Gamma sisters vintage shopping, relaxing with manicures and mimosas, and catching up over cocktails at the Georgetown Waterfront. Now it's time to gear up for an exciting fall calendar. September begins with a wonderful Foundation opportunity, the inaugural Light The Way 5k on September 10, 2011 at Nationals Park. Join the "DO GOOD" team and support Delta Gamma's mission to help the blind and visually impaired. Registration details for you, your family, and friends can be found at http://www.clb.org./ Contact Lynn Neagley vpfoundation@wdcdeltagamma.org for more information and details. Our Annual Fall Kickoff and Champagne Brunch is one of our most popular events and perfect opportunity to see old friends, meet new friends, and reconnect with the alumnae chapter. This year the brunch will be held on Saturday, September 24th at a member's home near American University . For more information contact Karen Ressue vpprogramming@wdcdeltagamma.org. Have you paid your Delta Gamma dues? Once a member, always a member. Delta Gamma counts on you to pay your dues for your first 50 years of Delta Gamma membership. DG dues are $50 and can be paid on our website http://www.deltagamma.org/ or by check. Contact Diane Cross vpmembership@wdcdeltagamma.org or Tricia Williams vpfinance@wdcdeltagamma.org with any questions. As always, I encourage you to check out our website, Facebook group, and Twitter feed for all the latest updates on D.C. Delta Gama news. Hope to see you this fall!
