SUBJECT: MID ENTREPRENEUR - ACTIVITY # 4

As a Midwife Entrepreneur what can you contribute to the present situation of our country/
community to lessen the incidence of maternal and infant mortality and morbidity rate.

For me, you need to strengthen your knowledge and skills by attending more seminars and
trainings. You also need to stick to the guidelines given by the authorities (DOH) on how to manage
your patients, who can you handle, and the decision making when you address what the patients need
on emergency situations. You need to be more intentional in terms of mastering your skills. When a
Midwife is knowledgeable and well skilled to her profession, she can able to give the best service to
her patients, with that her patients will have a successful pregnancy and as a result of a heathy
pregnancy, the mother will also deliver a healthy baby. As a Midwife Entrepreneur, you also need to
encourage your colleagues to study and learn again. You can also share all your learnings, and
experience on how you contribute to lessen the incidence of maternal and infant mortality and
morbidity rate by giving all the best service, and having a mastery on the skills.
