UNDERSTANDING LOK ADALAT: A NALSA

AND WORLD BANK COMBINED STUDY

GUIDE FOR CONDUCTING THE DISPUTANT SURVEY

Below is a guide to conduct the surveys on mobile phones. The survey has been pre-filled as
an example.

Step 0: Download the NALSA App if not on the phone.

Step 1: Open the NALSA App and Click on “Lok Adalat Survey” to start the survey
Step 2: Wait for the link to open. Choose English or Hindi as the medium of the survey.

(Below we have filled the survey in English)

Step 3: Fill the case level information.

Full Case Number- most important field. Make sure to

double check.

Year and Month field are only for pending cases. If people
get confused about the fields, you can leave them blank.

Write 0 if no pre-counselling sessions attended

Step 4: Click on the drop-down to choose the state. Once done, click ‘Next’ to
choose the district.
Step 5: Click on the drop-down to choose the district. Once done, click ‘Next’ to
choose the Taluka.
Step 6: Click on the drop-down to choose the Taluka. Once done, click ‘Next’.
Step 7: Satisfaction Survey: Second page appears after clicking ‘Next’
