The Laerdal Medical Corporation and the Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center (EMLRC) are pleased to announce a joint national initiative
to provide to provide containing medical education credit to the Physicians, Nurses and Paramedics who participate in simulation education programs
provided by Laerdal Education Services.
Continuing Education: Continuing Education Credit has been requested for the following groups:
PARAMEDICS and EMT’s
These educational activities are approved by the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation/Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center, an orga-
nization accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). Participants that require additional
approval should consult their local Medical Director or State EMS Office.
PHYSICIANS
These activities have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation /Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center.
The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.The Florida Emergency
Medicine Foundation designates this educational activity for up to 12 hours of Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each
physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
NURSES
Up to 12 nursing contact hours will be provided by the Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation/Emergency Medicine Learning & Resource Center.
The Florida Emergency Medicine Foundation is approved as a provider of nursing education by the Florida Board of Nursing, Provider # 2731.
