President

The Executive Power

Executive Power, the President shall have the


control in all Executive Department, Bureaus
and Offices.
Power to Appoint

President has the power to Appoint who will be take


over the different department in the government. The
President shall nominate and with the consent of the
Commission on Appointments

Power of Removal

General Rule: This power is implied from the power


to appoint.
Exception – Those appointed by the President where
the Constitution prescribes certain methods for
separation from public service.”
Power of Control

President has the over all control in all executive


department, bureaus and offices.”

Military Power

To call out the Armed Forces of the Philippines to prevent


lawless violence, invasion or rebellion.
Pardoning Power

The President has the power to exempts the individual from


the punishment inflicts for a crime he or she committed.
Borrowing Power

The President has the power to contract or guarantee


foreign loans on behalf of the Republic.
Diplomatic Power

No treaty or international agreement shall be valid and


effective unless concurred in by at least 2/3 of all Member of
the Senate
Budgetary Power

President shall submit to Congress a budget or expenditure


and sources of financing including receipts from existing
and proposed revenue measure.
Informing Power

The President shall address Congress at the opening of its


regular session. The information may be needed for the
basis of legislation.

a. Call to Congress to a special session
b. Approve or veto bills
c. Deport Aliens
d. Exercise emergency (war, law, limited, necessary) and Tariff
powers
e. Power to classify or reclassify lands
