Task 1: (07/03/2020) The bar chart below shows the

percentages of young people who were following higher

education in 2000, 2005 and 2010.

The provided bar chart illustrates data about changes in the

percentages of young people who had access to tertiary
education in five unspecified countries in 2000, 2005 and
2010.
In general, what stands out from the bar chart is that country
D accounted for/made up/constituted the most significant
proportion of students following university programs over
the time frame. It is also noted that the proportions of
undergraduates in almost all nations experienced upward
trends except for country D.

A more detailed look at the bar chart reveals that in 2000, the
higher education rate of young people in country D was the
largest with 45%, eclipsing the figure for country C
(approximately 42%). This was followed by data of country
B ( 40%). In comparison, country A made up only more than
35% of students attending tertiary programs.

Turning to the other information of the bar chart, it is

apparent that the percentage of undergraduate students in
country D witnessed a gradual rise and reached its peak at
60% in 2010. Besides, data of young people in country A
showed a surge to 57%. Regarding country C, there was a
slight growth of 5% in the percentage of people pursuing
university education in 2005 and it remained unchanged in
2010. In contrast, country B was the only nation whose
figure showed little change over the given period despite a
moderate decline in 2005.
