INTRODUCTION
MAIN POINT 1

The first main point that is discovered from the video is wind power.
Wind power has many benefits, advantages and disadvantages.

BENEFITS

The benefits of wind power are useful as renewable energy is non-polluting, reduces the use
of fossil fuels, lowers energy imports, generates wealth, long-term employment, and
contributes to long-term sustainability.
As a result, generating power from wind energy and putting it to good use contributes to
long-term sustainability.

Wind energy does not release hazardous compounds or toxins into the atmosphere, which can
be harmful to both the environment and people. Toxic chemicals can erode buildings and
acidify land and water habitats. Contaminants in the air can cause heart disease, cancer, and
respiratory illnesses such as asthma.

Wind energy does not produce waste or pollute water, which is critical considering the
paucity of water. Wind energy, unlike fossil fuels and nuclear power plants, has one of the
lowest water consumption footprints, making it critical for water conservation.

ADVANTAGES

The advantages of wind power are Wind energy is a cost-effective option. After the
production tax credit, land-based utility-scale wind is one of the cheapest energy sources
accessible today, costing 1–2 cents per kilowatt-hour. Wind energy mitigates the price
unpredictability that fuel prices add to traditional sources of energy because its electricity is
supplied at a fixed price over a long period of time (e.g. 20+ years) and its fuel is free.
Jobs are created by the wind. The wind industry in the United States employs over 100,000
people, and wind turbine technician is one of the fastest growing occupations in the country.
Wind has the potential to provide more than 600,000 employment in manufacturing,
installation, maintenance, and related services by 2050, according to the Wind Vision Report.

Wind facilitates industrial growth and competitiveness in the United States. Annually, about
$10 billion is invested in the US economy by new wind projects. The United States has large
domestic resources and a highly skilled workforce, allowing it to participate in the clean
energy economy on a global scale.
DISADVANTAGES

The disadvantages of wind power are Good land-based wind sites are frequently found in
rural regions, far from the cities that require electricity. To get the electricity from the wind
farm to the city, transmission lines must be erected. Building just a fraction of the already-
proposed transmission lines, on the other hand, may drastically cut the costs of developing
wind energy.

Turbines have the potential to pollute the environment with noise and odor. Although wind
power plants have a lower environmental impact than conventional power plants, there is
worry about the noise generated by the turbine blades and the visual impact on the landscape.

Wind turbines have the potential to harm local wildlife. Birds have been killed by flying into
turbine blades that are whirling. The majority of these issues have been solved or
considerably reduced as a result of technological advancements or optimal wind plant
placement. Wind turbine blades have also killed bats, and research is currently underway to
find and enhance ways to limit the impact of wind turbines on these animals.Wind projects,
like all energy sources, have the potential to modify the ecosystem on which they are erected,
potentially affecting the habitat's appropriateness.

MAIN POINT 2

Solar energy comes from Sun radiation that may produce heat, cause chemical
processes, or generate electricity. The overall quantity of solar energy incident on Earth
exceeds the world's present and projected energy needs by a large margin. Solar energy, in
contrast to the limited fossil fuels coal, petroleum, and natural gas, is predicted to become
increasingly popular as a renewable energy source in the twenty-first century due to its
limitless supply and non-polluting nature.

BENEFITS

There are many benefits when we use renewable energy like solar. Firstly, solar
energy
can reduce our energy bill. It is because you will use less power from the utility supplier if
you have a solar system that generates its own electricity. This will result in instant cost
savings on your energy bill. Furthermore, solar energy is applicable everywhere. Solar
energy may be used everywhere as long as there is sunlight. This is particularly useful for
remote regions with no access to any other source of electricity. Lastly, the solar system
does not have many negative impacts on the environment. It does not emit greenhouse gasses
and does not contaminate the environment. Solar energy production does not create any
noise, which is a major benefit, since a lot of solar installations are in urban areas, such as
domestic solar panels.

ADVANTAGES

Low cost maintenance is one of the advantages when we use solar energy .Solar
energy systems, in general, do not need a lot of maintenance. You simply need to maintain
them clean on a regular basis, so cleaning them a couple of times a year would be enough.
There is also no wear and tear because there are no moving parts. Because it is always
working to convert solar energy into electricity and heat, the inverter is generally the sole
part that has to be replaced after 5-10 years. After that, the solar system also has low
emission. Burning fossil fuels produces conventional energy, which releases carbon dioxide
and other pollutants. Solar energy is a non-polluting, low-emission solution that has the
potential to significantly reduce the earth's carbon footprint. To conclude, solar energy has
far less negative environmental consequences than traditional energy sources. Last but not
least, solar system can be stored and used at night. These solar systems let you store power
you generate during the day and use it at night instead. This would benefit homeowners that
use a majority of power at night. Similar to commercial businesses like supermarkets or
schools.

MAIN POINT 3

CONCLUSION

Finding a solution to the problem of climate change that affects it, on the other hand,
must be done properly and efficiently. Renewable energy sources such as wind, sun, and
hydro water can be used indefinitely, harm the environment, and save money.

Developing infrastructure to facilitate the development or harvesting of renewable
energy sources, particularly including palm oil processing factories in remote places, is one
of the economic benefits of employing renewable energy sources. It will also have an
influence on the reduction of the fuel subsidy now granted for natural gas and diesel
electricity generation. Furthermore, as compared to the use of fossil fuels, it can save the
country money by reducing the use of gas and national oil, both of which are in short supply.

The advantages of using renewable energy to the community will provide
employment opportunities for many people to venture into new fields of technology. With
increasing job opportunities then the unemployment rate can be reduced.

Finally, the usage of renewable energy has a significant negative influence on wild
bird populations as well as the environmental landscape in the future. However, it has the
advantage of being a renewable energy source that does not contaminate the environment
because no materials are burned to generate electricity. It can also help to lessen reliance on
imported commodities like coal.

All of these efforts are in keeping with the National Climate Change Policy's strategic
thrust, which states that enhancing energy policy must include management practices that
boost renewable energy and energy efficiency.
