SUBJECT: SIDE LETTER TO CONTRACT FOR SUPPLY OF GAS

This Side Letter is made at Karachi, in continuation to the Contract for Supply of Gas (“GSA”) executed between
_________ (the “Customer”) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (“SSGC”).

WHEREAS due to rapidly diminishing indigenous gas reserves, SSGC is unable to supply indigenous gas to the
Customer and consequently the Customer has expressed its desire to purchase RLNG from SSGC to meet its
power/ energy requirements in accordance with the terms of this Side Letter to the GSA;

AND WHEREAS the Customer understands that such RLNG inducted into SSGC’s system shall be comingled
with indigenous gas coming from different sources and that such RLNG shall be indistinguishable from other gas
already present in the system of SSGC.

The SSGC and Customer hereby agree as follows;

1. SSGC shall supply RLNG to the Customer effective ________ till _________ (“Duration”) in addition to the
indigenous gas being supplied under the GSA. It may be noted that such RLNG shall be supplied strictly on
an “as and when available basis” only.

2. SSGC and the Customer agree that for the Duration, the total natural gas consumed by the the Customer
shall be considered as 75% indigenous gas and 25% RLNG.

3. The Customer shall make payment against consumed RLNG in accordance with the rates/ tariff notified by
OGRA. If OGRA or any other authority determines the RLNG price on provisional basis or the Notified Price
already determined is revised with retrospect effect then the differential of RLNG price, if any, shall be
recoverable/ adjustable by SSGC in the subsequent billing periods and the Customer shall undertake to pay
this price differential as and when the same is billed.

4. All the parts of the GSA which are not explicitly and/ or impliedly modified as a result of this Side Letter shall
remain valid and binding on SSGC and the Customer.
5. This Side Letter forms an integral part of the GSA.

6. The Customer shall also execute a separate Contract for Supply of RLNG with SSGC.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the duly authorized representatives of the parties hereto have signed this Side Letter
in two (02) counterparts on the day, month and year first mentioned herein above.
