    This document describes two experiments to calculate material removal rates using electrical discharge machining. The first experiment calculates the material removal rate for machining a mild steel die sinker using a brass electrode. The second experiment calculates the material removal rate for machining the same mild steel die sinker using a copper electrode while varying the on-time. Tables are provided to record depth of cut, diameter of cut, machining area, volume removed and material removal rate for each experiment.
