Bang! The fish net fell in the shed. “The

shed is a mess,” said Mom. “Let us fix it,” Mom
and Beth ran to the shed. In the shed, Beth saw a
big black bat. The bat hung on the fish rod. The
bat had big fangs. “A bat!” said Beth. “ I will yell
for Dad. “Dad ran to the shed. The bat hid in a
jug in the shed. Dad got the fish net. “I wish the
bat was not in the shed,” said Mom. “Dad, did
you shut the shed? Did you lock the shed?” said
Beth. “No,” said Dad, “ I will get the bat,” Dad
got the bat with the fish net. Dad did not get bit.

“Boo!” said Jen. She jumped from behind the desk in the room.
“Ahhhh!” said Tim. Then he smiled, “ I will do that too.”
Jen and Tim hid. Will someone come find them?

“Boo!” said Jen and Tim. They jumped fast.
“Haha,” said Jim, “ Can I play too?”
The desk was a little small but Jen was kind.
She said, “I don’t mind. We will fit.”
“No,” said Tim. “We need to make an igloo.”
“Ok, I will help!” said Jim.
Soon they had a big spot to hide.
Miss M. came in to Room #8 to get her book.
“Boo!” all three kids said.

 Cool Pool
Tom had a really cool pool.
He didn’t want to go school.
He just wanted to play in his pool.

He went inside to his room.

He wanted to get some food.
The food made his tooth hurt.
He had a booboo!
It made him sneeze, too. Achoo!
Now goo was oozing from his nose.
There was a bit of drool, also.

He was sick now.

Mom took him to the doctors soon after.
They poked him with their tools.
Oops! That hurts.
He was doomed!
Now, he really wished he’d just gone to
school.
 The Cool Zoo

We go on a trip one day in school.

It’s to the zoo, how very cool!
We see an owl, and hear it hoot.
We also see it fly and swoop.
We spot a goose and a loon.
As well as a moose, and very soon,
It is lunch time; we sit in a booth.
It’s hard to eat, as I lost a tooth.
I eat my food with a fork and a spoon.
I ate so much, I have no more room.
When we are done, it’s tine to scoot.
Goodbye, zoo, it was a hoot!
The school bus takes us back to school.
